The beginning

Raleigh's POV

Hey, I'm Raleigh! I was on the bachelor and got very close to an engagement but it didn't end up working out for me. I've been given another chance as the Bachelorette this season.

I really just want to find my person, I want that person where you are best friends and you do everything together and it never gets old.

I'm standing here at the bachelor mansion waiting for the first limo to pull up. My life could change right here and right now.

I'm wearing:

Jesse walks out and stands beside me. "Raleigh, it all begins when that limo pulls up." He says "I know, I'm nervous, i mean it's impossible to not be but I am also equally just as excited to see where this whole thing can go." I say and I see the first limo begin to pull up.

Jesses walks away and the car door opens and the first boy walks out. He looks very handsome and walks up to me and gives me a hug. "I'm Peter" he says "I'm Raleigh." I say back "It's nice to meet you." He says "You as well." I say "I am a pilot and when we start training we're given two sets of wings. One for us and one for our co pilot, I'm hoping to find my co pilot and so I have the second set here for you." He says handing them to me and I smile "That is so sweet, thank you." I say giving him another hug and he walks inside.

I already have such good feelings and I've barely started. Then a couple more boys come out and I introduce myself. Then one walks out of the limo who is so handsome named Connor and I give him a hug once he reaches me. "I'm Connor, it is so nice to meet you, I thought that we both probably have nerves so I brought two shots with me to kill those nerves and get us started for the night." He says and I smile "You read my mind" I say and he hands me a shot and we take them. "I'll talk to you inside." I say and he walks inside and I stare at the sky blushing because he made me giddy.

Then another boy comes around the corner in no shirt and his body is insane. "I'm Luke P, I'm a model and I'm most comfortable without my shirt." He says and I laugh "oh well I mean you do look good without it." I say and he gives me a hug and heads inside. I don't know if I liked that really, it just seems too much and I don't wanna like someone cause they look good without a shirt you know.

Then another boy walks over holding two cowboy hats and a poloroid camera. "I'm Tyler, I know your from Tennessee and so I brought us both a cowboy hat so you can feel at home and poloroid camera to capture my first cowboy hat." He says and I smile putting it on "This is your big moment." I say standing beside him to take the photo. "It's so cute" I say looming at it "I'm excited to talk to you inside." He says and I smile "Me too." I say and he heads inside.

Once I've met everyone I head inside to start the night off. As I walk into the room everyone stands up and smiles and gives me a hug. "Hi everyone, it's so nice to meet you all and I'm so excited for the next many weeks of getting to know you all more. So cheers, to the beggining of a crazy journey!" I say and we all cheers.

I start the night talking to Mike who is very nice. "You look amazing by the way." He says "Thank you" I say as we sit down "So how are you doing?" He asks "I'm doing good, it's obviously a little nerve wracking but also exciting." I say "I'm nervous too and I'm sure all the guys are as well so it's all of us not just you." He says and I smile "yeah we're all in it together I guess." I say and we continue talking.

Then I end up outside for a bit with a couple of the guys and then Tyler Cameron comes and pulls me away for a chat. We go on to the balcony. "How has your night been?" He asks "It's been amazing so far, I'm happy to be here." I say "Im happy to be here as well and I'm happy it's you." He says and I smile "Why's that?" I ask "Because one your gorgeous, two you have this maturity that I respect and I'm just glad it's you." He says and I smile "I'm glad I get to know you better as well." I say "Did you like the cowboy hats?" He asks "Oh yeah I felt very at home." I say laughing "Yeehaw." He says and I laugh more "That's right, you may come out of this with a country accent" I say "Maybe, I wouldn't complain though" he says "Maybe one day I'll show you the country ways." I say and his hand moves to my back and our faces come together and his lips are closer and closer to me.

"Tyler" I say "Yes" he says "Just kiss me already." I say and he leans in and our lips make contact. It's the best kiss I've had in a long time. "Your bossy" he says laughing "I know what I want." I say standing up with him and he gives me a hug.

Then I talk to Luke P and it was basically 30 minutes of him talking about himself. I want to give him a chance and see if it can go anywhere and maybe it was just the first night jitters.

I'm inside now talking to Peter and he is such a sweet guy. "So what do you do back home?" He asks "I'm a dancer, I'm on dancing with the stars. You didn't know that?" I ask "I did, I just wanted to ask still." He says and we laugh "Has dance always been your thing?" He asks "It's been my outlet my whole life, I've gone through some rough stuff and going to the studio was home. I love what I do now and I'm so grateful for it." I say "Was being a pilot always your dream?" I ask "It's a family thing but I do genuinely love it as well. That feeling of catching flight is what I always crave." He says "Well that feeling of hitting the dance floor is the same way you feel about flying." I say and he smiles

I then talk to some more boys but the night eventually is slowly coming to an end.

I go into the room, "Tyler can I borrow you?" I ask "of course." He says and follows me out "I loved getting to know you more tonight and you made me feel excited for this all. So Tyler will you accept this rose?" I ask "Always" he says and I smile putting it on him and pull him in for one more kiss.

This night has been amazing and I just know there is so much more to come. I'm lucky to be here.
