The Breach

Chapter three: The Forest: Within

      Hearing the calls of his siblings while they chased after him was an… Interesting sensation. The fact that he had just murdered his own aunt is still fresh in Taiyo’s mind. Tears welled up in his eyes. Not out of sadness or fear of the consequences, but because he had no idea what to do. He just killed his aunt, ran into the forest he is forbidden to enter, and now has all three of his siblings chasing after him. Luckily, he could easily outrun Yuki and Kadan, the only problem was Shishido. While he didn’t like running (who really does?) Shishido could run for miles, and cover quite a distance. So now he has to outmaneuver his own oldest brother.

      "TAIYO GET YOUR DUMB ASS BACK HERE!” Kadan screamed, Yuki stopped three trees away to breathe and Kadan was quickly losing breath. “Fuck, I should’ve joined the damn track team with those two dickheads.” Kadan pants. “Fuckin’ loser. Stay here.” Shishido said and actually started running instead of jogging to make sure his slow ass younger siblings stood in his line of sight. “TAIYO!” Shishido yelled. “IF YOU COME OUT NOW I WON'T BEAT THE FUCK OUT OF YOU LATER.” Taiyo cowarded at his brother's voice and ran to hide in a bush. Shishido was never one to yell. So this was kind of terrifying. 

      Kadan and Yuki eventually caught up with the eldest as he literally swung a stick in bushes and trees. Out of fear of being hit, Taiyo tried to creep between the bushes. Unfortunately, Shishido saw him, yolked him up by the collar and held him in the air. 

      “Taiyo, what you did was irresponsible, dangerous, and idiotic. If you ever do some dumb shit like that again, my palm will meet your asscheeks and I will beat you until you can't sit for 6 weeks.” Shishido threatens blankly before dropping the youngest child, watching as he sputters and coughs, taking a breath he didn’t know he was holding. Looking up at the oldest with a semi-terrified look.

      Yuki awkwardly stared at Taiyo with Kadan poking at a pinecone. “..Is this edible?”

      “Not unless you make it into tea.” Shishido says blankly, crossing his arms over his chest while Yuki shuffles over to the coughing boy on the floor. Kadan nervously rubbed the back of his head. “Uh… I’m hungry…” Kadan mumbled, “Can we go back to the house, please? So either dad or Shishido can cook because mom is incompetent and an asshole - and just lost her sister to her own son.” Kadan mumbled. Shishido blinked boredly and grabbed Taiyo, tossed him onto his shoulder, grabbed Yuki by the arm, put her on his shoulder, picked up Kadan, tucked him under his arm and started walking.
