A/N: Welcome to my last story. That's right, my final story. With everything that's been going on, this will be where I end off. What a journey it's been. We're going to end off the same way I started. With a slice-of-life rom-com. I really love this series, so it's a fitting ending. Anyhow, enough about that. The 100 Girlfriends for those who aren't familiar with the series is a rom-com series about one man and his 100 girlfriends. Well, that's how it's going to end. For now, we have to build up to that point. We're slowly going to build up Y/n's harem of girlfriends as time goes on. This series is fairly wacky and nonsensical, so don't take things too seriously. I do plan to change the series quite a bit from the original, so I hope you don't mind the differences.
Before we begin, here's a quick guide for any newcomers. This is how I format my stories.

Hi. So, this might be your first reading experience with me. If this is true for you, then here's a handy guide for your convenience.
A/N = Authors Notes. (Usually where I write my introductions and endings. Sometimes they'll appear mid-chapter to explain something further) Example: Check above or at the end.
" = Means a character is speaking out loud. Example: Usami: "Y/N! Y/N! You wouldn't believe what just happened!"
* = These show character actions. Example: Y/n: "Hey, come on now. It isn't that bad." *He tries to take a bite* "I-It looks kinda tasty?"
' = They show texts or writing. Example: Shizuka: 'Our love is forever.' 'There is nothing that can' 'Rip up apart.'
Italics = Show when a character is whispering. Example: Y/n: "Is she allowed to do that?"
If the names are split they're either talking at the same time or saying the same thing.
Example(Same thing): Hakari/Momoha: "Please have xxx with me!"
Example(Same time) (Same punctuation): Karane/Kurumi: "What the hell is wrong with you two/You two are insane in the head!"
Example(Same time) (Different punctuation): Kusuri/Yaku: "Those two are as excited as ever, yep yep!/You youngster can be sound energetic in the mornings."
If none are present and a character has dialogue, that means they're thinking. Example: Y/n: Another normal morning.
Plain text is narration. Example: Indeed, today is another normal day on the school's rooftop. While it may seem strange on the outside looking in, it's what they've been growing accustomed to.
There it is. With explanations out of the way, let's start the story.
-----
Love. What is love? Y/n has been asking himself that for a while. From a young age, he's been interested in the idea of romance. That was until his first confession and heartbreak. He learned that love isn't something that happens immediately. He also learned to not confuse love with infatuation. Since his first confession, he has had many other heartbreaks. Each delivers its own message. Even with their lessons provided, he could never seem to land a girlfriend. Perhaps he was doomed to be single forever. Well, he'd rather be single than in a relationship with a person he doesn't love. Love is a lot of things. There is no one definitive way to love someone. People have different ways of showing their love. Love is mutual. Anything else is one-sided infatuation. Love isn't perfect. Love is allowed to be complex.
Y/n: "At this point, I doubt I'll ever meet the love of my life."
After finishing his entrance exams, Y/N walks home with his friend Higuruma.
