Cloudburst
As if the world knew 'bout my hurdles and wonders,
It sent clouds bearing yet hopeful, quiet thunders,
Whilst up ahead calls a dormant, crying storm,
The scorching sun feared its presence in the morn;
Looking out the window, my thoughts flew with the wind,
Swam across the oceans, the mountains found a fiend,
Pierced one's astonishing blue eyes, through and thorough,
Reached an expanse too great, not even me could follow;
Soon as I shed tears, raindrops went reaching down,
Rolled over my cheeks, slides the hem of my gown,
Away with a whisper, a cloudburst imagination,
Shifts back to reality, like we do in every occasion.
