Tiny Bits

i love you and the little things:
when we slow danced wearing promise rings,
the warmth on my ear from the whispers,
when our hands lock and my heart flutters;

fingers intertwined while we walk,
you'll caress my hair as we talk,
gentle taps of fingertips on my skin,
bring your shoulder close and i'll lean;

adorable, the of tune-singing was,
though lyrics resonated; i'd let it pass,
the trials and errors for a simple paper flower,
your patience when i take too long in the shower;

whenever we laugh at each other's jokes,
or when we gossip 'bout some other folks,
how you know where it hurts and where it tickles,
when our eyes meet and thoughts just mingle;

you know what it means when im silent,
ain't sleeping with any disagreement,
attempts of secretly taking an epic picture,
our random checkups and thoughts for the future.

oh, how i admire the simple things you do,
my heart aching to write a poem about you,
thinking of the cute lil' moments we've spent,
all your efforts and all the times you attend;

... the tiny bits of love that mean big.
