Paper Memories
Once cherished, now lost to time,
Moments and treasures, in shadows they climb,
We glimpse the past, left far behind,
Yet as years slip away, they gently unwind.
The smiles, the laughter, whispers so dear,
Fade to obscurity, as night draws near,
Shared moments between you and me,
Now, silent echoes of a forgotten sea.
In the echoes, a longing persists,
A yearning for the touch we once kissed.
Memories dance in the shadows cast,
Fleeting moments that couldn't forever last.
But time has a way, it won't be denied,
We search for what's gone, nowhere to hide.
Missing the warmth, the joy that's now gone,
In the solitude, we realize we've moved on.
