YES, Fauna knew him before. Pero, hindi muna ito ang tamang panahon para sabihin 'yon kay Dash. She was the biggest reason why he was in this situation. She regretted it. She wanted to apologize by taking care of him. And she knew, apology wasn't enough to mend the complications.

Hindi niya alam kung ano ang bibitawan niya para bumalik lamang sa dati ang lahat. She had learned her lessons. She had died. Kung kapalit nito ay malaman ng lahat na hindi siya totoong kabilang sa angkan ng mga Macapagal, then be it.

Then be it. She wouldn't care now. Nagpatalo siya sa takot, pero hanggang saan ba niya dadalhin ang takot na 'yon? Because this fear would lead to unhappiness.

Si Sofia lang 'yon. Hindi siya magpapatalo sa babaeng 'yon.

"Ang tangi ko lang alam ay may kaibigan ang Kuya ko sa katauhan mo," another lie. Another heartache. Gusto niyang sabihin ang totoo, pero alam niyang masasaktan si Dash. His brain would physically be inflicted with pain.

Pangako sasabihin niya kay Dash ang lahat kapag pakiramdam niyang tama na ang lahat.

She breathed the breeze coming from the ocean. They were on top of hill, resting and relaxing under a large acasia tree with picnic mat and basket for their lunch.

"I don't know you personally pero alam ko kung ano ang mga paborito mo. You like to eat pasta, but you also like barbeque. You like grays and royal blues. You don't get out because you're workaholic. You're not sporty, but you tolerating car racing. Your family is a family of lawyers. Pagmamay-ari ninyo ang pinakamalaking law firm sa bansa. You like to keep your reputation clean. You're so obedient to your parents. However, I don't know them personally. Hindi ko sila nakikita kapag walang mahalagang gathering."

Lumingon siya kay Dash na nakasandig sa puno habang binabasa ang maliit na libro na may pamagat na 'With Love, Cleopatra' by Luna Green. But his eyes were fixed on her.

Pangarap niyang matingnan ni Dash ng ganito noong bata pa siya. But she understood why he hadn't back then. He knew the boundaries. She had been young and he was old. She had been immaturely liked him.

And now it felt different to have his eyes on her. It was her soul that takes the delight. Dahil kung noon ito nangyari, hindi ganito ang mararamdaman niya.

Agad niyang ibinalik sa harap ang kanyang paningin. Her cheeks were burning. Dagdagan pa na pilit niyang pinapakalma ang damdamin dahil sa binabasa nitong libro.

"Misteryoso para sa akin kung bakit hindi sila dumalaw sa akin. Tanging si Sofia lang ang nakikita ko araw-araw habang nakaratay ako sa ospital."

Fauna didn't know his parents personally, but she had hints what kind of parents Dash had.

"Baka kung makita ko sila ay mapupunan ang mga katanungan ko. Mabait ba akong anak? Do I really have a family? Since hindi ko naman sila nakikita para kumustahin ako."

Maybe Dash did something that his parents didn't like. That possibly him not marrying Fauna.

Doon sumagi ang tingin niya sa lalaki nang maisip 'yon. Did he truly love her? Did he truly like her?

"You should ask Sofia that question," she said softly.

"I did. But she only said they are busy person."

She smiled sadly because she might knew the reason why they never visited. Hindi nasunod ni Dash ang utos ng mga ito.

"But thank you for informing me those things, Fauna. I appreciate it."
