The room was full with noise, mostly chatter between operatives and the occasional laugh at a dry joke but it was all silenced when the Major wandered in and yelled "Attention!". Everyone stood up and gave a respectful solute to their battle hardened and experienced Major who enjoyed his position of power in the C.I.A. "At ease" he said cheerfully, everyone sat back down into their comfortable leather seating while awaiting their briefing. "As you all know" the major began "since the start of 2013 we have received on multiple occasions threats from the terrorist group known as the Syndicate". Everyone exchanged nodes until he continued "they have been threatening to kill or capture American citizens and yesterday at 11:30 pm one of their member's pulled out a standard issue military rifle and open fired on civilians in the street". "The Boston police were able to take him out but only after a 3 minute stand off, which involved in 2 officers being killed and 1 being severely injured rushed to hospital along with 14 other injured civilians. A total of 9 civilians were also killed and the Government has authorised an under cover squad of our agents to monitor Syndicate's were about's". A muscular looking man in a suit an tie considered by fellow agents as a "true spy" leant back in his chair and said in a posh James Bond accent "do we have authorisation to take out any members of the Syndicate we fell necessary?" "Only if your cover is blown or they throw the first punch" the Major replied. "They are considered to have illegal weaponry such as RPG's, M16 assault rifles and are even rumoured to have Surface to air Javelin Missiles". Everyone turned from interested to scared out of their damn minds and someone proved this by saying "Jesus Christ!" another said "holy crap man!".
"The Major Bite his lip and tried to think of some kind've inspirational thing to say like in the movies, but instead he said "Good luck and you will be given another briefing later on about your mission". He wasn't deeply impressed with what he said but at least he said something.
