Canini: any dog-like Were. Ex: Wolf, fox, etc.

Felidae: any cat-like Were. Ex: Snow leopard, desert cat, tiger, etc.

Shift(er): Any humanoid that has mated with a live-birthing Were to produce a child who is both said humanoid and Were. ex: a Felidae that can Shift into their humanistic counter-part like a gnome.

viro: Old Elvish for threads/strands

Were: Any animal that has anthropomorphic characteristics to them.
