      "I see my future when I look in your eyes"

 
Ever since I got together with Paul, he's been begging me to join one of their concerts. Don't get me wrong, I've always wanted to, but balancing my band and another massive concert was way too hard.

   Some time ago, Paul asked me one last time and I honestly said "fuck it, let's do it" and that's how it all began.

   "Y'all are ready?" Gene asked form the other side of the room

   "You guys go without us, me and y/n will catch up in just a bit" Paul answered him immediately

   Just as the guys left, Paul got closer to me and hugged me thigh. "Thank you for accepting, you have no idea how much I've been dreaming on doing this with you"

   "Paul, you know I never declined because I didn't want to, I really do want it, but you know how it's with my band"

   "I know baby, but we're here now, so let's have some fun, and maybe some more later" he said with an almost whisper and a husky voice

   I kissed his cheek and went with the other guys, ready to enter the stage. Someone from their stuff handed me my guitar, which I wanted to match with Paul's. So many things were in my head but as soon as I heard the voice yell "You wanted the best, you got the best! We present you KISS featuring Y/S/N" my emotions were drained off and my excitement came in, ready for an awesome show.

   To be honest it turned out better than I expected, me and the guys were having a blast and Bruce actually let me take over some solos. For our last song Paul really wanted to play "Forever", I don't really know why he was such determined to play it, but I like it, so I didn't complain.

   I heard Paul's voice singing "I gotta tell you what I'm feeling inside, I could lie to myself but it's true. There's no denying when I look in your eyes, girl I'm out of my head over you"

   All the time I was standing right next to him, he didn't have a worry about the guitar because Bruce took over his part and I took over his. Paul wanted it this way so he could stay next to me and look me in the eyes while singing, tugging my hair behind my ear.

   Just as he finished singing the second verse I started my solo. He was watching me with admiration and I couldn't stop smiling. He then started singing again "I see my future when I look in your eyes. It took your love to make my heart come alive" pointing at my heart and his, looking me deep in the eyes, legitimately being hypnotised.

   After the song ended, I heard him say I to the microphone "You know, I wrote this song hoping that I could live it one day, and look at me now. I'm with the most wonderful woman known to man and dedicating this song for her. And as the verse says 《I see my future when I look in your eyes》, y/n, I really see my future when I look at you, so would you do me the honor to become my wife?"

   I was on my knees with him, hugging and crying my eyes out, and of course, I proudly said "YES YES YES I DO".

   Everyone was cheering for us and we ended the show in a spectacular way. I known Paul will make a big thing out of this proposal but I never imagined that he would do it in front of hundreds of thousands on people. I think that's why I love him so much. He want the world to know about us, as I do. I want the world to know that true love exists, and it's right here, between me and Paul.

   Hiiii! So this is the first time actually publishing anything (please have mercy)

   I am super excited about this story, I was just listening to "Forever" laying in bed at night and this super cool idea came to my mind.

   I just wat to say that English isn't my first language, I mean I am bilingual but sometimes I do make mistakes so just bear with me 😅
