duolingo and y/n~~

the prayer.

Y/n was laying around the house in their night gown daydreaming of duolingo while on their love seat. It was early in the morning y/n just had their cup of coffee for the day they look at their many shelfs of books in their lounge it almost looked as if it was a library they have read all the books cover to cover many many times with no luck of finding their one purpose in life Duolingo. Although today seemed different it felt...fresh as if they have never read those books so y/n stands up to grab a book and is almost pulled towards one they have read 839 times before. They flip through the pages hoping to find something when they see it. A piece of paper falls out of the book a piece of paper they had never seen before it in some wierd Spanish they knew well luckily. After 2 hours of deciphering the old scripture they find out its a prayer. So they go out to collect what they need for the prayer 1 egg 7 candles a picture of duolingo and a dim empty space. As they put it all together they feel overwhelmed with the feeling that today was the day it was happening! They start to pray on their hands and knees. "DUOLINGO HEAR MY PLEA PLEASE COME TO TEACH ME!" ×3 everything goes quite. All the sudden the candles go out and the room is shaking the sound of glass breaking and a picture falling the room lights back up and everything comes to a halt. The picture of duolingo is now missing him inside of the frame it's just blank. Y/n Grabs the frame in confusion "where are you." Says y/n hoping to hear a voice. say right here back to them But this time does! A hand is put on their shoulder. "Right here" says duolingo in a deep calm voice "AHH" y/n shrieks in fear "shhhhh don't scream I'm sorry I scared you" duo says in a sad voice "i-i just didn't expect you to be here! I've worshiped you for years! No one else in this town does but I never st-" "shhhh calm down I know it's alot but I'm glad you believe" he chuckles "I'll always believe! I love you- I uhhhh I mean ummmm in like a God way you know not like a romantic kinda wa-" he cuts off y/n "I understand it's ok" he says with a bit of playfulness in his voice and a small grin on his face. "I can't wait to talk to you! This will be the best day of my life!" Y/n says without realizing just how much better their life's about to be.
