I slowly made my way up to the giant castle. I followed the trail and stood in front of the giant wooden doors. Quietly, trying not to be noticed, I opened them and crawled in. I had one target - Ianite. I had to find her. And tell her.

I tip toed along the hallway, until I met with another, but not that big wooden doors. Luckily, they were already opened a bit, and I could hear voices behind it. As much as I remembered, that was the massive dining room, which she didn't use much. I took a deep breath, straightened my back and opened the doors. I saw Ianite sitting in the throne in the other side of the hall, leaned over to her left and talking to Martha. I could hear them laughing, until Ianite turned her head to me, and the smile on her face disappeared. That was probably because of my own look on my face.

- S.. Sparklez? What happened? - She said, and jumped down from her trown, rushing to me, with her purple dress flying behind her.

- Ianite.. - I mumbled and hid my face in my hands, trying to hold back my cries.

- What? Tell me, Sparks, - She said, almost whispering, and gently took my hands and slid them down. The soft touch of her hands gave me goosebumps, and I opened my eyes, frozen in place.

- Dagrun.. It's gone. - I whispered, and heard Martha coming over at us. I wish she wouldn't. I wish I could've been alone with Ianite, for just a moment. But I guess, it was information for her too.

- W.. What do you mean? - Ianite said, looking straight in my eyes, which made me a bit uncomfortable.

- What, Sparkles? What are you guys talking about? - Martha stood next to us, but then backed up, feeling our intimacy.

- Dianite.. He got mad and.. - I shaked my head and looked down on the shiny, clean floor. - Dianite and Mianite had a conflict about something... I'm not sure about what. Mianite sent me to you and I got to you, as fast as I could.

- Wha.. no... We have to go, is it bad? - She said, loudly.

- It's gone. - I repeated. The goodess took Martha's hand and rushed to the doors.

I didn't even look at Dagrun. I'd already seen it, and there was no need to remind it to myself again. Without looking, I slid my fingers down her arm and held Ianite's hand. I heard Martha go further in the ashes, probably looking for something. But nothing was left. Only our memories. I felt Ianite take my hand even tighter and put her arm around me.

- Thank you. - She whispered in my ear, and I got goosebumps once again.

- For what? - I opened my eyes and looked at her.

- For you being here. - She smiled. - You're always next to me. Thanks for that.

- I can't do anything else. This is what I'm meant to do.

- No.. It's your choice. - She moved her face closer to mine, and our lips almost touched. I let go of my confidence and.. kissed her. It was just a few seconds long, but long enough to satisfy me. "Was I.. attracted to a goddess?" I asked myself.

- And this is your gift. - She whispered and grinned.

- You're teasing me. - I said and looked to the destroyed land. It was all burnt down. How could we be kissing in front of this? How many people had died?

- Ianite? - I heard a deep voice behind us and turned around, to see Mianite in dirty clothes and with his once white, smudgy beard. Ianite broke out from my hands and ran to Mianite.

- Are you alright brother?! - She jumped around him.

- Yes, I'm fine, calm down. - He took her and gave her a tight hug. - Although Dagrun isn't. At all. We tried finding people, but most were already escaped or.. dead. - His tone saddened and his eyes found the burnt down town again.

- How many are fine? - Martha came back from exploring the ruins.

- Most, we're guessing. But still.. - He sighed. - Until we recover, we will have to find them a shelter. I'm guessing, my castle will be big enough.

- O.. kay. - Ianite whispered, and looked at me. - Sparklez, you can live with me. - She said, letting out a grin, so small, that only I could see it.

- Sure. - I nodded and looked at the town one last time, before taking Ianite's hand and teleporting back to the castle.
