*There was a lovely nurse who was helping and supporting your neck and back when you wanted to get up. She also brought you and Lando food when you wanted something. She also made a nice little bed for Lando right next to you. You fall asleep with

Lando in your bed while he is stroking your hair. You found it weird that your Dad didn't come back with your mum. The next day you wake up to the smell of food and your mum and Lando by your side.*

Mum: Good morning sweat heart.

Lando: How are you feeling?

Y/n: I am feeling better the pain has settled down a lot.

Lando: That's good to hear.

*Your mum is on the phone to someone she starts to hand it over to you.*

Mum: Someone wants to talk to you.

*You take the phone from your Mum and you put it up to your ear.*

Y/n: Hello

Zac: Hey is this y/n

Y/n: Yes it is, who is this?

Zac: It is Zac the team principal of McLaren.

Y/n: Hey Zac.

Zac: How are you feeling?

Y/n: I am feeling much better than I was yesterday.

Zac: That is amazing to hear and I have heard Lando has been taking great care of you.

Y/n: Yeah he has been.

Zac: Well that is amazing, I am here to talk to you about your contract. I have heard that you aren't comfortable staying at Red Bull so the offer of moving to McLaren is still on the table. Now that we will have a reserve driver fill in for you if you need to miss any races during your recovery. If you are interested in joining McLaren give me a call but no rush take your time and I hope your recovery goes well.

Y/n: Thank you so much Zac I will consider the offer.

Zac: OK that is great to hear I will let you go.

Y/n: Ok bye

Zac: Bye

*You hand the phone back to your mum and you look at Lando with a big smile.*

Lando: What is that big smile for?

Y/n: Well if I get better and get back to racing you might be looking at your new teammate.

Lando: Are you going to join McLaren?

Y/n: Yeah I want to. Hey mum can I use your phone?

*Your mum hands you her phone and you call Zac back.

Y/n: Hey Zac I would like to take you up on your offer.

Zac: Well that was quick but welcome to the team y/n.

Y/n: Thank you so much, I can't wait I am sorry that I can't race the first 3 races I feel so bad.

Zac: That's ok I know that when you come back you will be stronger and you will be able to beat Max and give him a run for his money.

Y/n: My dream has been to win a championship.

Zac: Well hopefully we will be seeing you and Lando on the podium together a lot more and we will hopefully be able to get you winning championships.

Y/n: I can't wait I will let you go.

Zac: Ok goodbye

Y/n: Bye.

*You turn to look at Lando and your Mum who are looking at you very intently.

Lando: Well I guess when you come back we will find out who is the good driver.

*He says with a smile.*

Y/n: I so wish I could come out racing now.

Lando: I wish as well but you need to look after yourself.

*The doctor comes walking in holding a clipboard.*

Doctor: We have some good news, we just need you to sign this document then you can go home you just need to do a couple of things.

Y/n: What are they?

Doctor: For the first month you will need to wear this neckbrace and if you are being active and walking around at the race track a lot you will need to sit down frequently because you will get really big headaches which could cause you to pass out if you are on your feet walking around too long.

*You nod acknowledging what the doctor had said and he handed you the black neck brace. You sign the document to say that you agree with the things that your doctor has told you to do and Lando signs that he will look after you. The doctor takes the sheet of paper off you.*

Doctor: Well you are free to go i hope you have a speedy and painless recovery.

Y/n: Thanks for everything.

Doctor: It's my pleasure.

Mum: While you guys go and get packed up I am going to go and park the car out the front so you don't have to walk as far.

Y/n: Thanks, Mum.

*You say as you are climbing out of bed holding your head because it is starting to hurt a bit.*

Lando: Are you ok honey?

Y/n: Yeah I am fine just hurts a bit because I have been sitting down for ages.

Lando: I understand that. Is that everything?

*He says as he is putting his race suit in the bag last.*

Y/n: I am so happy that I can get out of here. The faster I can get out of here the faster I can get back to racing.

Lando: Well it is good to get out of here but you won't be getting into the car for one and a half months.

Y/n: Yeah Yeah I know.
