I rubbed my neck as I walked ahead of Rose. The clatter of her heels as she strayed not too far behind me sent up chills aggressively up my spine. The way the darkness and force had overcame me a few moments ago...as it gradually wrapped around my neck vigorously through those few seconds…made me feel like I was actually going to die. I didn't plan on leaving this world so easily let alone be killed by Rose if I made the wrong move.

She was a threat to all of us. But, she looked so…Innocent and perfect.

I actually got a little taste of what would happen if I got on Rose's bad side. And believe me, the pain that surged up my throat whenever I tried to mutter a single word sent flames engulfing my entire mind and soul. I felt Rose's body next to me as we walked slowly to the train station, where there would be a food court somewhere downstairs where everyone would eat and socialize. But for the time being, I was only looking at her...and not in a pleasant way.

"You seem too quiet today..."Rose spoke up, acting as if nothing ever happened.

"You seem to be a bitch today…”I mocked as my throat still irritated me. Rose lowered her head onto the table as her arms swung from her side. Her chin rocked from side to side as she tried to calm herself. Random bystanders kept looking over their shoulders in a snobby way as their heads were thrown back selfishly, I glared at them briefly as my eyes shot back to Rose.

“Do you go through any regret when you do these kinds of things?” I asked meekly, trying not to strain my voice too much. Rose sat upright as she crossed her arms loosely. The notebook was probably in her backpack that was slung over her shoulder in a careless manner. I guess her belongings didn’t mean much to her at all…As far as I’m concerned she could just be carrying the clothes on her back and that ‘precious’ notebook.

“Sometimes…depends on the person.” She said.

“Did you regret it when you did it to me?” I asked. Rose looked up at me as she began to have a grim expression plastered on her face. She seemed to have regretted it to make a point. I thought she would just explain it, but, she actually did what I wanted her to do: To make me understand what it felt like to play the victim of her little game.

“Yes. But only to a certain extent.” she replied plainly, “coffee?” she offered as she pulled out her wallet.

“No thanks…”

“It will help your throat.” She said grimly, her fists tightening and loosening again.

“Fine.” I said my voice raspy. She smiled genuinely as she got up from her seat. And that was when the hell really began as it rose from the clouded ashes once more.

The second Rose got up from her chair, I heard a sharp gasp excape someone's lips. I turned around quickly as I saw a guy choking on his food as his hands lurched up to his throat in relief. Friends around him were startled as one of them tried to help him. I turned to Rose as she was stirring sugar cubes with a small spoon as she eyed the crowd darkly...but...the guy...

I gasped: it was the guy who gave her the frightening scowl a few days ago at school...How could he...

"Rose!!!" I screamed, everyone in the food court was so engrossed in the whole situation that they didn't even bother to look back at me sreaming hysterically at Rose. She ignored me which was definately one of her OTHEr main talents. Rose was the puppet master who controlled everything and everybody. I was starting to get sick of the situation as I turned back at the guy who was still choking. His face was gradually turning a bronzed tan into a ghostly white.

"Jared!!" A girl about our age screamed hysterically. I winced at how many people she has attacked. When was this rain of terror ever going to lighten up? I shouted mentally in my head. I had to stop this. I need to stop Rose. I raced to toward as she took a sip of coffee. i she winced at how hot it was.

"Hmm, needs more...sugar." she murmured to herself, she looked up at me and smiled darkly, "Are you enjoying the show?"she asked impulsively, her lips stretched into a twisted smile.

"Rose, this isn't funny, stop it NOW!" my voice echoed along the walls as someone shrieked instantly. I heard the girl who was screamed "Jared" pointed to Rose rudely as her eyes widened in a horrifed manner. Oh shit. I had a feeling that the rumors were starting to errupt from student's mouths again...

"It's her!! She did this! It's Ro--" she gasped she froze in her staggered stance. I eyed her suspicously.

"Rose...what are you doing this time?" I asked, my voice just above a whisper. No one outside of school should know Rose's existence and attacks that she had inflicted on furing the past month. Cops, dectectives...no one. She didn't respond as I rolled my eyes briefly.

Jared was now pale white as the person who was tryign to help him was slowly backing away from him. Everyone was dumbfounded at how long he had been choking. It almost grew to a point where his attack would be endless, making his loved ones surge with anger and depression as tears woudl roll down their faces. His body now was limp as he stood standing, as if he has strings holding him up...a puppet in Rose's hands.

It wasn't long until Jared and the girl collapsed at once. Jared's body hit the floor as his head collided with the edge of the table, almost splitting his head. His friends shoked and appauled at the iamge they scrambled to him at once as one them dialed 911. The girl's chest tensed up as she claws at her chest as she gasped non-stop as her neck strained to see Jared's face.

I guess they both knew that they were going to die.

"Rose stop this!!!" I exclaimed almost to a point where I was begging for the madness to stop. the terrifying sounds of people's cries and shouts for help were nothing to compared to my anger and acrimony steaming from me as I turned to look at Rose. I was surprised and shocked at what she looked like: Her eyes widened at the girl who was cringing at Jared's face as she struggled to choke out some words. Her stance was unfamiliar as she stood in a frightened stance as her hand covered her mouth in shock. A bead a sweat trickled down the side of her face. she looked like she was in a utter train wreck.

"Rose!!" I exclaimed.

"I'm not doing it to the girl..." she paused as she heaved a shaky breath, "There's someone else in the room who's..."her voice faded into the chaos as Jared's friends were twisting in pain as their mouths filled with blood that streamed from their necks and chins. One of their friends necks were twisted into a full 360 as they toppled over Jared. Other bystanders scrambled toward the exit as I felt Rose tug on my wrist.

"it's not safe here! we need to go!!" Rose's voice was overwhelmed with grief and pain that wilted though her body. Someone was also behind this as the group of friends were attacking each other out of order. From the look of Rose's face as her eyes radiated the look of sadness and panic...she was telling the truth...100%.

We were racing down to the exit as somethign caught my eye...

A tall guy dressed in a black shirt was walking away in the opposite direction with a girl leaning into him who was wearing a black bow on the side of her head. they were walking slowly, as if they were strolling in the park with the most calmest faces...

could it be the guy who was on the bus that kept looking back at us a couple of days ago?

I was absolutely certain that this was the most formidable event I had ever attened...unwilingly of course.
