"See? This is what happens when you try to leave... No more escaping.. Okay?"

he squeezed harder onto her neck, her eyes rolled up to her head as she struggled to gasp for air.

The hands that once scratched at him had gone limp. He looked down at her lifeless corpse, observing, "I guess I'll have to make do with this." he smiled as he dragged her body to the bed.

Click!

That click sound signified Eien's death. Forcing her to start from the beginning, all her progress, all the memories she made, all her friends.

She'd grown tired of it, but this time she thought it'd be different this round, she really had hope.

She sat up and touched her neck, she knew it was all over. She's fine now, what was once her life is now just a memory, and it'll stay that way.

Waking up to the same scenery for over a thousand times made her sick of this place, who could be so cruel to cast a curse like this?

At first she thought it was a one time thing and tried her best to live her life the way she wanted to.

But then the 5 rounds turned into tens and tens into thousands, Eien just gave up and started doing nothing but laying in bed, and who would've thought?

That killed her too. It was a never ending hell, she could never escape let alone try.

"Eien come down, somebody's here to talk to you!" She's heard that sentence too many times to count "Yeah, I'm coming." Eien got up, she hated this.

It was always so irritating having to start from the beginning over and over again. As she reached down she sat at the table.

Without even looking she already knew what was gonna be on it, rice, fruits, and some water.

"Who wanted to see me?" She already knew but that was the only way she could start the conversation, not that she wanted to talk.

"They'll be here in a moment." her mother spoke sternly, "Be patient." She began to clean up the table as Eien began to fidget, the man that led her to the man that killed her.

And more than definitely did disturbing things with her corpse.

She began to sweat as the door creaked open. A man in a dark suit and hat walked slowly to the table "Ms. Eien, correct?" Eien nodded, "What did you need me for?"

He motioned her to come closer, then whispered in her ear, "You've been accepted to become a knight." she mustered up the biggest smile and plastered it all over her face.

While she looked happy her breathing quickened, "Mother! I got accepted!" Her mother smiled, "I knew you could do it, I'm proud of you." she wrapped Eien in the tightest hug.

But that didn't feel like a hug anymore, it felt as if a hundred hands caressed her body. She couldn't escape. That man would always leave a mark on her.

The way he'd say her name sweetly as she begged him to stop.

Eien's body didn't move, it stayed in place.

She couldn't move, her mother finally let go after what seemed like eternity and she fell to the floor.

Her mother gasped, "Eien! Are you alright?!" when her mother tried to touch her Eien slapped her away, when she realized what she'd done she began apologizing.

"I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry, I'm-" she ran out of breath, "I.. I don't know what came over me" her mother stared at her as the man left the house, he muttered that he'd be back tomorrow.

Probably to leave them space. "It's alright dear, you probably did that out of reflex." Her mother pat her back soothingly, but even that wasn't enough to soothe Eien.

She still felt his hands all over him, it seems that this time loop isn't the only thing she can't escape.
