I entered the cafe, looking at Dom talking on the phone.
I understood it was Harry.
He was talking with the "work" phone that was on the bar counter.
When Dom ended the call, Mia and I were behind the bar, Mia obviously upset."...What?", Dom asked confused.
"Did you seriously just fire him?"
Mia said, looking him straight in the eyes."No. Harry was begging me not to, so I didn't."Dom replied while heading back to the office, slamming the door.
Mia followed him and they started arguing. You could see them scream at each other trough the office blinds.
As I was leaned on the counter, i started to walk out, taking money stack from my pocket. My mind was blank.
While i was walking out, everybody outside of the Toretto's were talking about moment before."I will beat his ass next time.",
Vince said proudly."That dude should get a lesson."
Leon said laughing while dapping up with Jesse, clinging with beers in their hands."How about controlling yourself next time? You made Mia cry."
I added while counting the money in my hands.Vince replied while opening a bear against the table corner.
"That jerk messed everything up!"
I packed the money back, unlocking my car.
Vince followed me to the car that was few meters in front."Maybe you're just jelaous."
I said."Why?"
"Because Mia put him on the first place on the list you're not even on."
I turned on the car.
"See you tonight."I drove off.
Vince was mad, entering the cafe, everyone else following him.I went to Harry's, seeing Brian by the cash register.
I was approaching him as he was signing some papers on the counter.
"Listen, I don't want any problems."
He said angrily, raising his eyebrows, still not looking at me."No..."
I slowly put my hands on the counter, my fingers nervously tapping.
"I actually came here to apologise."
He laughed and started to walk out.
I followed him to the side parking lot, few steps away from the shop.
There was parked neon green 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse with its hood open. He was obviously working on something-he's racing for sure."This is your beauty?", I asked, walking around the car.
"Yes! Wanna see?", he smiled proudly.
With its great motor and design, inside i saw enough NOS that can split Earth into halves.
"You ain't working here just for the pay?"
I laughed, leaning on the bodywork. Then my phone rang. It was Dom.
"I gotta go."
He saw the name, and after scratching his head, he closed the hood.
When i entered the car, he came by the window."You're coming tonight?", I asked.
He nodded his head.
"Cool."
I started the car, him entering the shop again.
"Ayo Brian!", I screamed.
"Yeah?", he turned around.
