Author's note: I'm sorry again yall. I honestly haven't noticed so many people were reading this fanfic and wanted more chapters. This one is a bit short. But I'm getting my motivation back !
༺☆༻
It's been about 4 days since Sampo had brought three strangers to your home. Having three other people in your comfort place wasn't as bad as you expected, except for the fact that you're the only one who knows how to cook. Buying groceries for meals was becoming more and more of a challenge. You didn't realize how picky these so called Trailblazers are.
Other than that, it wasn't too bad. Having company helped improve your social battery. You didn't have much of a social battery to begin with. But at least it had improved. Since you usually adapt well, nothing was much of a problem for you!
Currently you are sitting on the couch in the living area with your temporary roommates, all sharing a blanket while watching a horror flick. You liked horror flicks, but that didn't mean you didn't get scared from time to time.
Dan Heng was the only person who didn't even flinch once. It surprised you a little. Though, March and Stelle seemed to be the most focused on the screen in front of them. You then decided to get up, "I'm gonna make some popcorn. Anyone want some?".
March and Stelle turn their heads at you and nod excitedly. 'How'd they do that so in sync? Kinda creepy..' you think as you head to the kitchen. Having a big bag popcorn kernels to heat up always came in handy. Sampo sometimes stops by for the night, and having him around meant that you always had to watch something together until you both passed out on the couch.
Even though it looked like you and Sampo had only a business relationship to others, you really felt connected to him. Maybe you respected him in a way. Or did you feel comfortable because of how close you guys have gotten over the years? You didn't know. But, having Sampo around wasn't a thing you felt exactly terrible about.
A knock at your front door stopped your thoughts. Having someone come by wasn't normal considering that it was late. You peak out the peep hole on the door and then suddenly step back with a small gasp. You zoomed to the living room "Guys! I'm gonna need you guys to be quiet! A Silvermane guard is here, so try to not scream until I say the coast is clear.". You didn't even get to hear their response before you rushed back to the front door and slightly open it, just enough for your head to be seen.
"Gepard!..What are you doing here? Wait-how do you know I live here?" You look at him in curiosity. The man in front of you looked at you in slight shock. It almost seemed as if he wasn't expecting you to open the door.
"Hm, good evening..Have you seen any of these individuals? I've been ordered to find such criminals. So I thought that asking some people around wouldn't be a bad idea. Uh- but I didn't know this was your estate, sorry!" Gepard sweat-dropped as he started scrambling with his words. He then shoves three Help-Wanted posters at you. It took you a second to realize that they were...interesting drawings of the three people you currently have in your living room.
"Uh-yeah! I mean-no! Sorry, I don't know who these people are. But if I may ask.." you dragged the last word a bit. Gepard tilts his head slightly to the right. "..who made these drawings?" Your face heated up from trying to suppress a laugh. That's until you accidentally let out a giggle. Gepard processes this quickly and his face turns into the shade of a tomato. He suddenly turns his head to the side and pouts a bit. You connect the dots of your question to his reaction and calmed down your urge to laugh, "You know, I don't think they're too bad. They'd be a really good help for the people around here to stay alert!"
The blonde turned back to you fully and gave you another confused expression, "Really?". You nod. His face then turns into one of relief and looks at you a little shyly. "Well then, I should be going to ask around more. I'll see you later." He then walks away and approaches another door.
You couldn't help to stay by the door a little longer. The only thing on your mind was how cute the man was when he reacts to a simple compliment. Maybe you should give him more just to see that cute expression once more.
