• At first Caine wouldn't take the situation seriously

• You'd probably be telling him about somthing that he did that made you upset and he'd be making jokes about it/you and just not really pay attention

• That's when it would turn into an argument

• But still, Caine didn't realize that it was serious and he kept on joking around, he still wouldn't get that you were trying to be serious lmao

• He would reailze he fucked up when you stormed off and then he would admittedly go over to you and try to apologize for not taking you or your feelings seriously

• Caine would leave you alone for a bit to calm down and he would nervously go to your room and give you your favorite snacks, again apologizing profusely

• After that he would NEVER not take your feelings seriously, so scared that he would make you mad or sad again
