Prologue - The Protagonist

Hey people how are you all doing? It's been so long, I know everyone has been coping with the sudden events. However, writing is something I can't stop and this story was in my mind way before. I've already written half of it so after contemplating a lot I decided to post it today. I hope you will enjoy it.

I want to know how it feels to be loved. I want to feel how it is to be someone's first thought in the morning. I want to be the main character of someone's favourite movie or a romantic song.  I want to be a poem someone remembers by heart, I want to be an art someone likes to hang in their bedroom.  I want to be a person who can become someone's wallpaper willingly.  

I want to be a thought when someone stares at the stars for hours, wants to become a home someone craves, a person someone talks about all the time with a smile on their face. I want to be that one person, I want to know how it feels to be the one person someone's life revolves around. I want to be the protagonist of someone's movie.

"Well, you booked the half package and the time was 6 pm" said Win showing his watch to the girl in front of him.

"Can't I have your number, non-officially, can't we date in real?" asked the girl desperately holding Win's hand. "You look more handsome than your picture in real life, please"

"Sorry girl, I don't date my clients." Said Win getting up from the table and leaving his coffee which he never tasted, this was not the first time he had dealt with someone clingy it was common in his job. Win walked out of the café leaving the whining girl behind, once he was out, he opened his profile and signed out for the day as his shift was over and had no booking further.

An organization named, WE SERVE YOU provided a rental girlfriend and boyfriend as per the customer's demand. Customers have to choose the packages, there were just two packages Half package and the full package. Half package consisted of just dates and all, and full packages were similar, just a slight add, in the full package you get to spend the night too.

Half-package employees were never mixed with full-package employees, and vice versa. So, if you order a half package bf/gf you only get to spend just the time you booked and no night spending together, but if you wish to go on dates at night that can be negotiable but no boundaries should be crossed with the employees.

The company was very strict in these matters. The company knows very well that there are always different kinds of clients, and some of them can get over the top. So, to deal with these kinds of clients all the employees were trained for self-defence.

No complaints were entertained without proof, and if you are an employee in this company your dignity is their responsibility.

Metawin (also known as Win), was the best half-package employee WSY has had until now, with no complaints from his clients, and if someone went overboard, he handled it very diligently. He had a 4.8 which was the highest rating in this company. No other employee was near him. His profile was so impressive that he was booked for the entire month sometimes. That made him the highest-paid employee, the company charged the clients 11,800 THB for the full package and 8000 THB for the half package per hour.

Metawin worked here for 6 years and never thought even once to change the job, because they paid so well. So, the man was rich enough to get a penthouse but he still chooses to live in a comfortable home. So, he bought a home with his money 2 years back and lived there alone.
