The morning light filtered through the curtains, casting a soft glow across the room where khadijah was meticulously getting ready for work.

It was her first day at her new job and also the commencement of her mission as an undercover in the company, the air was thick with a mix of anticipation and nervous excitement.

she stood in front of the mirror, adjusting her blouse and smoothing out any wrinkles on her skirt-a professional look, she hoped would make a good impression.

Amy watched from the doorway,a supportive smile playing on her lips. She knew how much this job meant to Khardy, not just for her personal fulfillment but also for their family's financial stability.Well, that was what they thought.

"You look great, Khardy"Amy said, her voice warm and encouraging."They are lucky to have you".

Kareema emerged from her room, her eyes still slightly heavy from sleep but shinning with pride for her sister. She walked over to Khardy examining her outfit with an approving nod.

"Look at you all professional and ready to conquer the world"Kareema teased gently, her tone belying the deep respect and admiration she felt.

Khardy met her sisters gaze in the mirror, her own eyes reflecting a mixture of determination and gratitude."Thanks guys"she replied, her voice steady but her hand slightly trembling."I just hope I can live up to the expectation".

"You will"Kareema said firmly, stepping closer."You see,I want you to have it in mind that this job doesn't stand a chance against you....and please, don't fight with anyone, respect your seniors at work and even the juniors. If they try to pick on you don't even bother to care Hun? You're the toughest, most determined person I know".

Amy joined them, and together, the three sisters shared a moment of silence, each lost in their own thoughts but united in their mutual support. Then, as if by an unspoken signal, they wrap their arms against each other in tight hug.It was a a rare display of affection in a family that often showed love through actions rather than words, making the moment more significant.

"Go get'em Khardy"Amy whispered, squeezing her sister's hand reassuringly.

"we're with you, every step of the way"Kareema added, her voice strong and confident.

As they pulled away, Khardy took a deep breath, her heart fortified by her sister's unwavering support. With one glance at her reflection, she nooded to herself.she was ready.
"see you tonight"Khardy said, her voice now filled with newfound confidence."I will tell you all about it".

with that, she grabbed her bag and headed out the door, not looking back but carrying with her the love and hopes of her two biggest cheerleaders.

Amy and Kareema stood by the doorway, watching her leave, their hearts full of pride and their spirits lifted by the bond that held them together through thick and thin

____________
As the door closed behind Khardy, the momentary and solemn confidence was replaced by a more familiar, lively dynamics of the household.Amy turned to Kareema,a playful glint in her eye,a subtle shift from a supportive little sister back to an everyday challenges of cohabitation.

"So Kams"Amy began, her tone casual but carrying an undercurrent of mischief"who's going to brave the kitchen today? You or me"

Kareema still standing in the doorway, turned to face Amy,raising an eyebrow in mock surprise."Me?cook? Seems you've forgotten the fact that I'm the big sister here and moreover,I thought we agreed cooking was your superpower".

Amy crossed her arm, trying to supress a smile"oh really!Miss big sis,you have a point. But let's not forget the time you tried to bake a cake on my birthday,it ended up looking like some science project.I believe the term you used was 'rustic charm'"

Kareema laughed, the sound echoing warmly throughout the room"okay, okay,As far as I remember, the last time you 'graced'the kitchen,we ended up eating snacks because your 'signature dish'was more of a culinary experiment gone wrong"

The sisters locked eyes,a silent battle of will, before breaking into laughter.Their banter was a testament to their relationship -always teasing, sometimes arguing but beneath it all,an unshakeable bond.

"Fine"Kareema conceded with a dramatic sigh."I'll cook. But you're on a dish duty and I expect the kitchen to be sparkling clean Miss Experimental"
"Deal!but can I choose the menu miss rustic Charm"
"Nope,no experiment this time pls,. Let's Stick to something edible"
Amy mock saluted"Yes chef!"

As Kareema sauntered off to the kitchen,Amy shook her head with a smile, her thoughts drifting back to Khardy.Despite their playful squabbles and the chaos of the daily lives, moments like these bring back memories of the love and support that ran deep in their family. It was this unspoken promise to each other after their father left --to always be there no matter what -that gave them strength

And as the sound of Kareema rummaging through the kitchen reached her.Amy couldn't help but Feel grateful for her family. They were a team,in cooking & in life and together there was nothing they couldn't face....
