Mary thought about her situation four times now. "I can't believe I haven't realized it earlier" she looks out the window of her apartment. "This whole time I've been in love with my best friend Alice." Mary got up and walked over to her computer to chat with online friends. "I'll tell Alice this Friday, hopefully she won't think I'm crazy." She smiled at the thought of being with Alice. Will she have the guts to tell Alice how she feels by Friday afternoon? Or will someone beat her to it? There was no doubt that Mary was going to confess her love, and the way she was going to do it was through singing. "I hope this works" Mary began writing a song to express her love for Alice.
