Hello readers!!! I just wanted to clarify this before you read any further; This is inspired by Bioshock Infinite. If you haven't played that game I recommend playing it (Play other one's first other wise it might not make much sense..) My characters are played by Booker and Elizabeth, but they don't have the same relationship as they do in the game. Thanks for reading and I really hope you enjoy!!! XOXO

Only 36 years old, my sucesses in life greater than any other man's, I dawned over the debt that was due. In every single universe I had traveld to, there was death catching up to me somehow. No matter how much I had avoided it.....it was as if it was constantly 3 steps ahead. I had crossed over dimesion by dimenson, but I couldn't run away from that one problem. But there was one. I just had to look harder.

~*~*~*~* *~*~*~*~

Fixing my hat that was perched on my head, I continued down the long pale stone path towards the core of the city. Right in it's center stood a statue. It was a cool marble, that the people of Katcha worshipped. We were a very holy place if you must say. It was of a women. She was known to everyone as 'The Ender'. There were legends written about her, epics, poems, novels. She was very well know. Not in a good way though. They say the Oracle warned them that her powers could possibly set the world on fire.....so they locked her away. No one actually knows what she looks like, but a group of artists came together and created that statue based on what they thought....Since she's been locked up for so long; some say she was executed.....other's say her dead body lies in the dugeon in which she lived. I don't believe either side of the story. She's still alive. And I know it.

Running a hand through my damp hair, shotgun in belt, I strode down the street. Everyone's eyes were on me, but I refused to glance back. They knew I was trouble, it was also foretold that a man with hair so dark brown it looked black, and green eyes would unleash her. Of course that man was me. I lived on an oath that I couldn't go near her....but that's all gonna change. In order for me to live.....I needed that girl.

~*~*~*~* *~*~*~*~

Gun readied, bandana masking my nose down to my chin, I tipped my hat down just a little further, then turned the corner. Shooting as quickly and as quietly as I could, both guards fell down dead. Crouching down, I creeped over, and looted their lifeless bodies. Grabbing coins, ammunition, and weapons, I sneaked over towards the back gates. I heard chatter from the doors' location. Then the sudden clatter of horses feet.

"Shit." I cursed under my breath. These horses could sense movement, breathing, anything really. So it was just my luck that they could be right around the corner. Taking a deep breath, I stood and aimed my gun.....but there was no one there. Stepping over, worries behind me, I pushed the doors open...only to have an alarm set off. Rushing behind a large stack of crates, I peeked through the crevice at the guards rushing in. How was I to get the girl if there were so many authority in here?

"No worries men, it was just a bird. Return to your positions." The chief said, making my shoulders un-tense. Quietly reloading my gun, I made sure the guards exited before slipping down the secret passage way. Don't ask how I found all this out.....I have my people. Closing it behind me, I crouched down, and slowly made my way towards the supposed prison cell she was in. Shakily breathing, beads of sweat slipping down my face, I stepped up to the gate. Knocking on it with a closed fist, I heard the shuffling of feet. Soon nearing the the bars of the cell, was a girl with long wavy brown hair, brown eyes, and a large blue dress.

"Who are you?" She whispered, "Are you the one that's supposed to get me out of here?"

Nodding in reply, I hit the lock with the butt of my gun.

"I think it broke. Let's go." She told me. This girl was without a doubt very beautiful. And for the sake of my life....I was willing to do anything to protect her. Keeping her close behind, I heard loud thudding of feet hitting the stone stairs harshly.

"Be ready for all hell to break loose." I warned her. She shrugged it off, and threw up her fists. At least a dozen guards rushed in and had guns in their hands. Others had nothing. Just like The Ender.

"GET HIM!!!" One screamed, rushing towards me. Slamming my gun down on his head, he dropped to the floor dead. The girl laughed, and soon I was bursting shots like no tomorrow. She -believe it or not- took down 4 herself. Grabbing more ammo from their guns and a couple coins on the way, I turned and looked at her.

"Hi. I'm Howard Donagan."

"Ethel Grim.....but why did you come?" She asked in a worried tone.

"I think it would be better if I explained that a little later...."
