"Comandante Andreas Esteban Cruz,Se le convoca a la Base Militar más cercana en Madrid con efectos inmediatos" {Major Andreas Esteban Cruz,You are summoned to the nearest Military Base in Madrid with immediate effect}-The woman from the base adressed me on the call.

"Si,Gracias,",I reply and get ready.

A few moments of scrambling for my uniform,I was up and going.

As I stepped into the military outpost, memories flooded my mind like a tidal wave, threatening to engulf me.

 The familiar faces of comrades I had once fought alongside greeted me, their expressions a mix of surprise and concern. But it was the sight of the Colonel, standing tall and resolute, that sent a shiver down my spine.

As we exchanged greetings, the Colonel's gaze bore into mine, piercing through the facade I had carefully constructed. His question hung in the air, heavy with unspoken curiosity and concern.

"Why did you leave us, Andreas?" he asked, his voice soft yet laden with meaning.

I hesitated, grappling for words to explain the truth that lay buried deep within my heart. 

"Marriage," I finally replied, the words feeling hollow and inadequate even to my own ears.

The Colonel's eyes narrowed in skepticism, and I felt the weight of his scrutiny bearing down on me. 

"Where's your wife?", he inquired, his tone insistent.

"She's not here with me," I answered, my voice barely above a whisper not meeting his eyes.

"And here I thought that newly-wed couples were together all the time,"He says dissapointed.

"We shall talk in my office in half an hour",Colonel gestures me goodbye and walks away but there was a voice calling out my name.

I wasn't sure about whose voice it was but it was vividly familiar.

"Andreas,Is that you?",Adlin came into veiw when I turned.

 As she approached, a rush of relief washed over me, and I knew in that moment that I was not alone. With a silent understanding, she wrapped her arms around me in a tender embrace, offering solace in the midst of my turmoil.

"Hey,what are you doing here?",I question her out of curiosity.

"I'm-",Adlin starts,Her emerald eyes lighting up.

"Oh lord-Look how you've grown",Sofia's voice rings out to me.

"You secured your own Patroa also",Maurício comes up to me and hugs me.

"She's not my Patroa,She's my rainha",I say looking at Adlin,with a pretty blush painting her cheeks,indicating that she understood my words.

"Hi there,I'm Sofia,"Sofia greets her.

I looked into Adlin's eyes, seeing the silent plea for understanding mirrored in her gaze. And in that moment, I made a choice.

"She's my wife,",I say holding Adlin's tiny hand in mine.Her eyes almost pop out of her eye sockets but she disguises her suprise with a cough.

"Nice to meet to all but both of us are in a hurry actually"Adlin rushes me to say and pulls me towards the Colonel's  office.

"What are you doing?",I ask her as she knocks the Colonel's door.

"Why are you here,Adlin",My voice grew deeper and huskier.

"Come in",Colonel says from inside the office.

And She drags me into the Colonels office,hand in hand and her face twisted in an indecipherable expression.

Only God knows what's gonna happen in there.
