We came up to a house that was a little further away from Shady Sands. It was abandoned and the windows were broken. The house was made all out of wood and it looked as though it was burned.

We decided to head in there for a little shelter. It was getting darker outside and the orange sky was now turning pink as the sun set.

I led the way and stopped in what seemed like a kitchen. It was run down and there were pieces of wood scattered all over the floor. The roof was caving in on it self in some places.

Taking off my backpack, I put it and the bloody bag on the kitchen table. Cooper followed behind me and we both sat down at the chairs.

"You gonna tell me what the fuck is going on or what?" He began, raising the muscle where his eyebrows would've been.

"When I left the vaults this woman who took my father said that I had to retrieve a head and bring it to her in order to get my father back."

Coop crossed his arms as he continued to listen.

"She told me that when I get the head, I have to bring it to the observatory. My dad was the overseer of vault 33 and I can understand why she took him but I feel like there's something deeper going on because there's so many other overseers to choose from. She only wanted my father." I shook my head as I looked away, trying to think of a reason.

"Whose head is it?"

I looked back to open the bag up. Leaning over, undoing the bag I pulled it down halfway so he could see the face.

"A doctor by the name of Siggy Wilzig."

Cooper uncrossed his arms and sat up in his seat. He let out a light chuckle.

"You gotta be fuckin' kidding me." He said, looking at the head closely. "He was my bounty."

"What?"

"I was supposed to kill him but I can see that someone else did that for me. The gunshot to the foot was meant to slow him down 'cause I wanted to play the long game with him." Cooper shrugged. "Didn't know he was so popular."

"That guy from Shady must've cut his head off." I pulled the bag back up and closed it. "Not unless he stole it from someone else too."

"Who's the woman that you mentioned?" Cooper questioned.

"Moldaver." I unzipped my suit a bit and reached into my inside pocket where my breast was. I took a folded up poster out and gave it to him. Cooper unfolded it and examined it closely.

"I took the wanted poster with me from my vault so I wouldn't forget what she looked like." I said and Cooper looked wide eyed at the poster.

"This woman right here?..." He cocked his head to the side. Cooper read it as he looked like he was piecing something together in his head.

I nodded as he put the poster down onto the table.

"She goes by Lee Moldaver now, huh?" He gave a light smile, sliding the poster back over to me.

"You know her?" I took it and folded it back up to place it back into my inside pocket.

"Unfortunately. She's got a lot of explainin' to do I'll tell you that much." Cooper leaned back into the chair and crossed his arms again. "You know, I knew you were going to serve me some purpose one day but just didn't know it would be for this."

"We both find her, you get your answers and I get my father back."

"I don't make deals with vault dwellers."

"Why are we so hated by you?"

"Vault tec led me blindly and took everything I ever loved with it." Cooper clenched his jaw. "That's why."
