Luo Wuxian hugged his parents as him and Jiang Wanyin were going to leave to go to Yunmeng. Liu Qingge wanted to come but Luo Wuxian stopped him. Eventually they stopped insisting on coming.
Hua Cheng wasn't there as there was a problem that he needed to fix in his realm so Xie Lian was there instead.
Luo Wuxian looked behind his parents to see if Lan Wangji was coming to see him off or not. Shen Qingqiu noticed this and smiled, putting his hand on his son's shoulder.
"Don't worry, I'm sure Second Young Master Lan just needs some time to think about it"
Shen Qingqiu said, and Luo Wuxian nodded at him. He had told his Baba about what happened yesterday and Shen Qingqiu comforted him and gave him advice.
"We should go now"
Jiang Wanyin voiced out and Luo Wuxian nodded. Shen Qingqiu retracted his hand as the two began to descend the mountain.

Lan Wangji stared at the pond below him. He was already there for a week and Luo Wuxian left yesterday but he didn't see him off. He was still conflicted.
Of course, he knew his feelings for Luo Wuxian were more than just friends but...he didn't know if he deserved him.
At that time, he wanted to tell Luo Wuxian that he felt the same but he couldn't. Now he was sitting there all alone until footsteps snapped him out of his trance.
"You seem lonely.."
A familiar voice said that made Lan Wangji looked up at him.
"Master Shen"
He stood up and bowed earning an amused expression on Shen Qingqiu.
"No need for that! It has been a long time since someone did that haha"
Shen Qingqiu laughed as he closed his fan and sat on the grass near the pond. Lan Wangji waited until Shen Qingqiu noticed him and patted the seat next to him. Lan Wangji nodded and sat back down.
"How are you?"
Shen Qingqiu asked as he looked at the still pond. Lan Wangji was taken back by the question but nevertheless answered.
"I'm doing fine Master Shen"
He said as politely as he could, he didn't want to disrespect someone as important as Shen Qingqiu.
"Mn. I heard what happened with you and my son"
The older one suddenly said as Lan Wangji flinched ever slightly.
"I'm sorry .."
Lan Wangji suddenly said before his mind could register what he said.
"Don't apologize Lan Wangji. My son really loves you and I know you feel the same way. Please take care of him"
Shen Qingqiu said now turning his head to look at Lan Wangji who had a surprised expression.
"I know that I probably don't have any right to tell you this, considering that it wasn't me who brought him up...but I just want A-Ying to live a good life with the person he loves"
Shen Qingqiu said, though it was very out of character for him to say all that, who could stop him? The system had left him a long time ago.
Lan Wangji nodded at Shen Qingqiu.
"I will, Thank You"

Yunmeng Jiang was no more. The Sect had burned to the ground with dead bodies of the Jiang Sect soldiers littering the grounds. Madam Yu and Sect Leader Jiang Fengmian included.
It was a disaster for everyone. Every civilian was already evacuated. Jiang Wanyin and Jiang Yanli were in Yilling with Luo Wuxian.
Wen Qing and Wen Ning were also there and helped the two Jiangs in their injuries.
Luo Wuxian tried to stay and help but Madam Yu wrapped Zidian to him and the Jiang siblings. Jiang Wanyin was staring into space as Jiang Yanli tried to help Wen Qing.
They were devastated or in Jiang Wanyin's case, in a trauma state.
No one dared to say anything as the hut they were staying in was quiet. You could probably hear a needle drop.
Luo Wuxian was frustrated. He could've stopped the Wens with his demonic powers but his Father had warned him he wasn't ready to use them. Jiang Wanyin also stopped him from doing so and that resulted in their current situation.
Luo Wuxian stood up and walked to the door.
"I'm going to leave. Don't follow me."
Luo Wuxian said as he left, slamming the door shut behind him, leaving the Wen Siblings looking worried.

Luo Wuxian tried to go back to Yunmeng but due to his recklessness, he was captured by the Wen guards and was brought to Wen Xu who was currently with Wen Zhuliu.
"Well, well, if it isn't Wei Wuxian!"
Wen Xu spat as Luo Wuxian glared up at him by having to kneel in front of him.
"Not so tough now are you? After killing my brother in that cave. I should thank you for that, now that the bastard's gone I would be next in line to the Sect! Now because I'm so grateful, I won't let Wen Zhuliu here melt your core but instead. We're going to take you somewhere else."
He said, though Luo Wuxian couldn't care. He didn't even care what would happen to him so he just stayed there numbly as they dragged him.

They arrived in a cliff where you could sense dark energy coming from below. Luo Wuxian didn't even look as he got kicked down on the ground as Wen Xu grabbed a handful of his hair.
"This is the burial mounds! Where it was rumored to break ones soul that they couldn't even get a chance to reincarnate! Even cultivators couldn't handle it!"
Wen Xu said as Luo Wuxian glared hard at him and spit on his face making Wen Xu growled at him and letting him go.
"Have fun not being able to reincarnate."
He said before he ordered the Wen guards to throw him off the cliff. He glared at them before he fell to the ground of the burial mounds.
Dark resentment energy welcomed him like a blanket. Surprisingly, it didn't hurt when he hit the ground. And he could feel his forehead glowing red as more resentment energy came to swallow him.

Luo Binghe woke up sweating as he quickly sat up from the bed, startling Shen Qingqiu who was sleeping on his chest.
"Binghe? What happened?"
Shen Qingqiu asked as he yawned, still tired seeing it was still dark outside.
"Shizun...I think something's wrong with A-Ying"
