"Tay, you ready to go?" Travis called up the stairs, standing by the door with his shoes already on.
"Just coming!" Taylor shouted back. It was almost 2 pm and they were about to leave to go to the stadium- Taylor went onstage at 8 . She galloped down the stairs in a t-shirt and leggings and not much makeup- she'd do it all there.
"You look beautiful" Travis said, kissing her blonde curls.
"Dont lie" Taylor laughed. "I have no makeup on"
"You don't need makeup to look pretty- you're always gorgeous" Travis kissed her again, on the lips this time. Taylor blushed, looking down, her cheeks pink.
"Do you want me to drive us? Or your driver?" Travis asked as they headed out the doors security in tow.
"Could you?" Taylor asked. It was an hour long drive, and Travis understood why she wanted it to be just them two- it could sometimes be a bit awkward with her driver as well.
"Of course" Travis responded, motioning to the security behind them. They understood, so Taylor got into the passenger seat, Travis in the drivers seat and security in front and behind. Luckily there wasn't any paparazzi around, as they hadn't figured out where Taylor was staying yet. They put on the radio and set off, talking about nonsense and singing at the top of their lungs. Travis reached over and took Taylor's hand, kissing it. She looked over with a smile on her face, midway through singing 'paparazzi ' by Lady Gaga.
"Whatttt" she laughed, pausing her singing.
"You're beautiful" he whispered, making her blush. 'I love you' Taylor mouthed, her cheeks still pink and a smile brightening up her face before going back to singing.
"I love you too" Travis murmered, gazing at his girl lovingly in wonder. They spent the next half an hour having the time of their lives, not realising this day was going to take a dramatic turn for the worst in just a couple of minutes.
Just then, as they rounded the corner, a car came out of nowhere.
"SHIT!" Travis screamed, trying to swerve. But it was too late. The range rover ploughed into the passenger side of the car, making their black SUV roll. It bounced along the road, stopping upside down next to the barrier. The car that that hit them was nowhere to be seen. The loud crashes of the car was followed by silence, as Taylor's security leapt out their cars and ran over to the overturned car, calling 911 on the way.Travis's POV
I slowly opened my eyes, trying to get them to adjust to the light. My head was pounding, and I was... upside down? What happened? I was in a car... Carefully I undid my seatbelt and climbed down, standing on the ceiling. Everything was fuzzy. I could just about make out some men at the smashed window. Taylor's security? Taylor. Oh my god. Quickly i turned around. She was behind me, crumpled on the floor, well, ceiling. Shit. Evidently her seatbelt had come undone as she was lying in a motionless heap.
"Taylor!" I cried, climbing over to her. I pulled her into my arms, cradling her head. "Taylor" I sobbed. She had blood sleeping down the side of her face, turning her once blonde curls red, and her clothes were soaked. I could tell that she was bleeding from other places but I wasnt in the right mind to know what to do. I stroked her cheek, sobbing. I couldn't loose her. This was all my fault. I needed her. I loved her.Suddenly there was a chorus of shouting outside and some people in uniform- firefighters I'm guessing- started prizing the door open. Once it was open one of them motioned for me to come towards them, said they needed to treat me, but I didn't want to let Taylor go. I held her even tighter, whispering in her ear that I loved her. That i'd never leave her. A kind looking firefighter with very blue eyes and ginger hair climbed into the car and sat next to me.
"What's your name?" He asked.
"Travis" I whispered, still holding Taylor close.
"And your girlfriend?" The ginger asked.
"Tay- Taylor" I answered, my grip faltering a bit.
"Okay Travis, Taylor seems to have some quite extensive injuries so we need to help her, and you have a head wound which we should sort out. How about you come with me to sort your head whilst my team help Taylor? She's in good hands, and I promise you can go to the hospital with her" He said quietly. I nodded slowly, gently laying Taylor's head down before the nice ginger helped me climb out the car. I wanted Taylor to get help, and I knew I was just in the way. He lead me over to the back of an ambulance and started asking me questions, whilst dressing my head.Taylor's POV
Who was that person in front of me? What happened? I was on... a board. And that was when the pain hit me. All over my body, a sharp aching. I cried out, but I didn't cry. My head was pounding and I couldn't move my arms. I squeezed my eyes shut, trying to stop the pain. I could feel the sticky feeling of blood everywhere and I could feel myself getting fainter and weaker by the second. Someone was talking to me but I couldn't hear them, my ears felt like they were stuffed with cotton wool. So much was happening. I was now in broad daylight, no longer trapped in that stuffy car. I never liked it anyway. Keeping my eyes open was too much effort. I could slowly feel them starting to droop, as I slipped into a state of unconsciousness once again.
No ones POV
An unconscious Taylor was wheeled into the back of the ambulance by two paramedics. Travis climbed in after and sat down to the side, his head now with a dressing on it. The ambulance set off, the paramedics giving Taylor an oxygen mask and holding pressure to her many wounds. Travis took her hand and held it to his lips, trying hard not to cry. He had to be strong, for Taylor. Just then it dawned on him.
"I- she- she can't be seen, we- we need a pri- private room" Travis said, finding it hard to form words because of his fear. His head wound had already been checked and nothing was wrong, so at least he didn't have to worry about that. The paramedic nodded reassuringly, before going back to dressing Taylor's arm.Suddenly, the machine started beeping.
"She's crashing!" One of the paramedics yelled, reaching behind him to bag her with the oxygen mask.
"Starting CPR!" The other paramedic said, gently moving Travis away and starting with the compressions. The one with the mask gently placed it over her nose and mouth, squeezing the bag at regular intervals. "How far out are we?" He called to the front.
"7 minutes! " came the reply, causing the paramedics to side eye eachother worryingly. Travis was sat in a corner warning everything unfold, scared out of his mind. Scared for the love of his life, scared she wasn't going to make it. A single tear snaked it's way down his cheek as he based on in worry.Travis's POV
I can't loose her. I cant. She can't die. She has to be okay. I love her. I love her. I can't live without her. She can't die. I love her.
"I love you" I whisper.A/N A bit dramatic but I hope you like it, do you want a part 2?
