Dirt began to finally settle with the setting of the sun. There were various shades of purples and reds scattered across the sky and the two gas giants were starting to peek over the horizon. The farmers on Glecta finished the day tilling their land and stored their equipment in their barns. The farmers, as well as everyone else on Glecta were members of the Glectent Faction. However, the farmers were the ones who were guild members which meant they were in charge of the work as their faction demanded. They also were the only ones in their faction that wore brown uniforms.

One particular Glectent, Tuanaver returned to his home. His wife and children were waiting for him expectantly. The children were wearing what kids normally wear, bright colored clothing. Tuanaver's wife, Krefrena, was not garbed in the uniform like her husband nor the colorful clothing like her children. She was wearing a dark blue dress. Tuanaver greeted her with a kiss. She asked him how his day was and then continued without taking another breath, "Did you talk to your friend?" She paused to breathe though noticed Tuanaver was not following what she was saying. She added," Your friend, what was his name, Gelczer?"

"Oh yes, that's his name." Tuanaver replied. "It is confirmed that he would be leaving this planet."

His wife frowned. "I am so sorry." She spoke. She grabbed both his hands in hers and tried to pull him into an embrace with a light tug. However, Tuanaver did not budge. He stayed firm and looked deeply into his wife's eyes.

"That is not the only news. I was stopped by a messenger on the way home. He directed me to the Central Office. When I got there, he had me sit down at a monitor in one of the back rooms. There, one of the council members appeared on the screen. I am to go to Conhasra along with Gelczer."

"What?!" Krefrena said rather loudly. She dropped his hands and then hers by her side. She had a difficult time getting the words to come out of her mouth at first, "What__ What does that mean for us? Are we going to have to move again?"

"I will have to look into that, somehow. And I know that look on your face. Let me explain. I am the only one being sent there from this household."

"No! How can they do this to us. You must refuse. Ask for something else. Tell them You can't leave without your family!"

"I told them I had a family. That did not seem to faze him. You know I can't just say no. It does not work like that. I wish it did. I am not certain how long I will be there for. It could be for a short time or longer. I really have no way of knowing. If I were there for longer, apparently, I would have to secure transportation for you and the family. They won't even help with moving."

Krefrena looked shocked, her face turning pale. She started to speak but paused. She resumed again by saying quietly, "How can they do this to us?" She paused again and swallowed hard, trying to keep from sobbing. Krefrena asked her husband, "You need to go before the council and tell them that this is unfair. Tell them that they should not be splitting up a family like this."

"That would be a wonderful idea if I could. There is a reason why that is not done though. I knew someone who went there before the council, a fellow farmer. He supposedly talked about some unfair treatment, I guess something similar to ours. I really don't know the details nor even sure what happened in the council chambers. From what I learned; it was not even that significant according to a council memo I read. They not only disagreed with his gripe but called it unreasonable. They effectively only would care to do something if it is a serious matter and one in their eyes. If it is serious for us, won't mean it would be for them. I do not know if they have a specific level of seriousness before they would act upon it or they simply don't care of our problems."
