Laila watched as Hania and Isa walked hand in hand down the hallway, their love seemingly stronger than ever. She couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness and concern for her cousin.
As she turned to walk away, she heard Isa's mocking voice call out, "Hey, Laila! Still sour about us being together?"
Laila spun around, her eyes blazing with anger. "You know, Isa, you're really something else. You think you're so clever, don't you? But mark my words, you'll hurt Hania someday, and when you do, don't come crying to me!"
Isa sneered, his eyes glinting with amusement. "Oh, I'm shaking in my boots, Laila. You're just mad because I chose Hania over you."
Laila's face went red with rage, but before she could respond, Hania intervened, her voice firm but gentle. "Isa, stop teasing Laila. And Laila, please try to understand, we're happy together."
Laila shook her head, feeling frustrated and helpless. "You're not listening to me, Hania. He's not good for you. But I guess I'll just have to wait until you figure that out for yourself."
With that, Laila turned and walked away, feeling a sense of unease that she couldn't shake off.
