It's been a few days since I got into a lot of trouble, my week of suspension is almost over then I go back to school sadly...
I have been helping keep the house clean, and so the outside chores such as clean horse pens, help feed animals.
"Hey Katie" My brother Garrett called from the living room.
"Yes?" I ask coming down the stairs
"Did you do your homework?" He asked raising his eyebrow.
"I'm half way thru today's sheet and then I still have tomorrows" I reply walking to the couch to sit down.
"Okay, we need to run to town to do a few errands when we come back you need to finish it please" he tells me
"Okay" I reply
"We're leaving to town in 15 minutes" John says as he gets his coffee cup out of the cabinet to make a pot of coffee.
*15 minutes goes by*
We get into the truck I sit in the backseat while Garrett drives, John is sitting in the passenger seat. John and Garrett discuss how they need to hire a few ranch hands to help out around the ranch.
They're getting behind on quite a few things. We're also going to be building a ranch hand bunk house. I look out the window while we drive to town to enjoy the pretty view of all the pastures.
I'm still grounded from my phone. Hopefully I get it back soon but I doubt it.
We pull into the parking lot of a feed store, we have to get some grain and supplements for the horses. We're also getting vaccines and such for all the animals because it's that time of year.
We park and get out of the truck, John helps me out of the truck. We walk into the feed store and get the things we need. While we're in there Garrett has me try on a few bootcut jeans as wells as shirts.
I ended up getting 5 pairs of bootcut jeans and a few shirts.
"Oooo look at this!" I say running over to the saddle area where there is this beautiful leather saddle.
"Katie come try on these boots" John says.
I ignore him and look at this saddle when Garrett grabs my arm pulling me to John.
"I called you 4 times Katie, start paying attention!" John says
"I'm sorry I was looking at that saddle" I say as Garret pulls me by my arm.
"Well listen when I call your name" he said annoyed.
We finish up in the feed store heading to the truck.
Next stop is the grocery store. Where we get everything we need for the week and such.
We're making enchiladas tonight for dinner! One of my favorites! We head out of the store to the truck.
While walking to the truck I ask Garrett if I can have my phone back yet.
"Can I have my phone back?" I ask playing with a strand of my hair. While Garrett and John are loading the groceries into the truck.
"No." He said continuing to load the truck.
"Please, I don't wanna go back to school without a phone...." I plead.
"No Katie I'm sorry but you're not getting your phone back. Not until you can prove you can behave" he said loading the last of the groceries while john took the cart to put it away.
"But, I will behave please!" I ask getting in the backseat truck buckling myself.
John gets in the passenger seat and Garrett gets in the driver side.
