Jungsu and Jiseok knew about each other's existence, they had met once in fact. But they were barely acquaintances. So when their friends- Oh Seungmin and Han Hyeongjun had brought them, they tried to socialise with each other.

The four were at a coffee shop. Seungmin and Hyeongjun were sitting across from each other, Jungsu and Jiseok were across from each other.

They were having fun until Seungmin had to leave. "I have to buy a gift for my mother, do you want to come with Hyeongjun?" Jungsu felt panic after hearing that, as he barely knew Jiseok, if Hyeongjun, his friend, left, he would be left with a friend of a friend of a friend.

That's how little Jiseok and Jungsu knew each other.

"Sure" Hyeongjun smiled before following Seungmin out of the coffee shop.

"So" Jiseok started trying to start some conversation with him. But after saying that one word, his mind went completely empty. He didn't know what to say.

"You're handsome" Jiseok muttered, he wasn't planning on saying it out loud, in fact his next statement was also never meant to be uttered out loud.

"I bet you'd be great as my boyfriend" He said quietly again. Jungsu didn't know how to react, no one had ever said that about him.

"Come again?" He said, he was pretty sure that this was the best answer he could give apart from silence. And he was done with awkward silence, he wanted things to move on.

"I said you'd be great as my boyfriend, you know? Cause I like you? And you seem like a great per.." Jiseok cut himself off as he just realised what he said. He covered his mouth with his hand and hid his face on the table.

"Shit, just ignore what I said" Jiseok said from the table, he couldn't believe he had just said that. They were barely acquaintances, and although what he said was true, he didn't want to say it out loud.

"Aw you think I'm handsome? And that I'd be a good boyfriend!" Jungsu gushed, he never really got that many compliments, so he didn't really know how to react to that.

"Well, I mean" Jiseok didn't know what to say, as Jungsu hadn't commented on what he said. At least not the part he didn't want him to hear. And then he had to ruin it all again because he didn't know how to shut up.

"When you like someone then obviously you're going to think that" He covered his mouth again after saying that. He kept on going on about how much he liked the older boy. And he didn't know how to stop. He was flustered, so he couldn't think properly.

"So you want me to be your boyfriend or what?" Jungsu asked, not really sure if he was understanding what Jiseok was saying right. The younger boy didn't expect him to come to such a conclusion, not that it was bad. Cause it was the truth. Just not what he was thinking immediately now.

"Well I mean, yeah, but-" He didn't know where the conversation would be leading too. This whole moment was stressful. And it felt like some kind of huge misunderstanding.

"Wait- so let me get this straight, you like me right?" Jungsu asked for some clarification, which was something Jiseok hadn't thought of before. But it was the best thing to do.

"Yeah..?" Jiseok replied, he felt like his heart was about to explode. For multiple reasons, but mostly just stress.

"And I like you!" Jungsu exclaimed with a smile. Jiseok silently gasped. He blinked multiple times, to be sure that he had heard him correctly. He also pinned himself to be sure he wasn't dreaming.

"So we like each other?" Jiseok asked, to be sure again. Jungsu nodded.

"Well then that's good, cause things would've been awkward otherwise" Jiseok replied with a little chuckle to detonate the tension.

"As if things weren't awkward now" Jungsu replied, he wasn't entirely wrong, every time one of them would speak, it would take half a minute for an answer from the other.

"So what do we do now?" Since they needed an answer to continue on with their day.

"We should get to know each other better before we start dating, then we can be boyfriends" Jungsu explained. Jiseok nodded, he definitely found Jungsu's answer to be great.

"We'll date soon then?" Jiseok asked, hoping that Jungsu would say yes. But there was a moment of hesitation from the elder.

"Hopefully"
