The Enfield Monster

In 1973, a man in Enfield, Illinois told reporters he saw a weird little creature lurking in his yard. Per the resident, Henry McDaniel stated:

It had three legs on it, a short body, two little short arms, and two pink eyes as big as flashlights.

The police later found scratches on the door screen and footprints that looked like a dog but with six toes. "If they do find it," McDaniel said in the newspaper, "they will find more than one and they won't be from this planet, I can tell you that." To this day, no explanation has ever been found.
