The Punishment and Blackmail (Movie 2 - Part. 7)

Susan and Frank called everyone downstairs, (Name) stood in between the brothers avoiding eye contact. "Your father and I have talked and we've decided on your punishment....(Name) we've called your parents....as you know they're out of town....as of tomorrow you'll be heading to your grandmothers house but due to the time you will be sleeping on the couch tonight" Susan explained as she nodded

"Now I do have a question....your father and I do and we don't want any more lies" Susan said "(Name) and Rodrick, Did anything happen?" She was vague as (Name) looked straight up shaking her head quickly

Rodrick doing the same "Mr and Mrs heffley I can assure you nothing happened that night....I slept over that was it" She said to which Rodrick quickly nodded

Frank let out a relieved sigh as Greg looked a little confused "Alright....well (Name) your parents have let your Grandmother know you're grounded while staying with her including no phone or games" Susan explained to which she nodded

"Greg you're grounded for two weeks, also no video games for two weeks" Frank told the youngest "Rodrick you may only drive to and from school for the next month....you may pick up and drop off (Name)" Susan said

Rodrick and (Name) looked at each other before looking down "As the ringleader you are also grounded for a month" Susan added on

"Mom, I'm sorry and I won't do it again" Rodrick said "Neither will I Mr and Mrs Heffley" (Name) said rubbing her arm "I know you won't...." Susan looked between the teens for a moment

"and to make sure we're also not allowing you to perform in the talent show and after tonight apart from school (Name) will not be over nor will you be allowed to call" Susan said

All three of them looked up, (Name) looked shocked as Rodrick looked heartbroken "what? no. you can't do that" Rodrick spoke angrily before his voice began to shake

"Ground me for a year, take away my van but you can't make me cut off contact with (Name)....and you have to let me play in that show" It broke (Names) heart hearing the sadness in his voice

"This could be my big break" Rodricks voice trembled "I'm sorry" Susan said "dad? come on this isn't fair I just got Bill in the band!" Rodrick said

"Actually Rodrick that doesn't help your case, Bills kind of a Jerk" Frank said, (Name) knew it wasn't the right time but she couldn't help but nodding along to that fact

"our decision is final" Susan said, Rodrick looked like he was about to cry he began walking up the stairs with Greg (Name) looking up the stairs 

"you're so dead!" Rodrick whispered to Greg making him stop, (Name) looked back towards Rodricks parents "Mr and Mrs Heffley....I know you're mad and I can understand that but Rodricks right, this could secure Rodricks future-" She was cut off

"Our decision is final (Name)" Frank said, She jumped at the sound of Rodrick slamming his bedroom door. She looked back up the stairs, she knew she'd most likely get into more trouble 

But in the moment she honestly couldn't care, her best friend and the only man she had ever had the smallest feelings for was absolutely distort, heartbroken

"Rodrick!" She called out running up the stairs, Behind her Susan fiddled with her necklace looking down, Frank went to call out to her to which she grabbed his arm

"Leave her...we've taken her away already at least let him have this" She said before walking away from the staircase
