Rachel Awoke to the sound of footsteps coming down the wooden floored hallway. She looked at her alarm clock, "12:19 who is up at this hour", she whispered to herself. "Get the kid who is awake", She heard a scruffy voice say. Rachel shut her eyes so it looked like she was asleep. Moments later Rachel heard muffled screams. "There goes another brother", Rachel said under her breath. The front door opened then silently closed. The girl began to weep and then eventually drifted off to sleep. Then once again the house was quiet like usual every normal night.
