okay lets get back to that night where we left Agathiyan and Thulir in their special place......
"Why don't we just get married dii"
Agathiyan, who was lying beside Thulir on the bed, looked up at her as she sat leaning against the headboard, preparing notes for the next day's class....
"Was this the first thought that came to your mind upon waking up? "
Thulir asked narrowing her eyes at him. He chuckled, took the note from her hand, set it aside, and then comfortably laid his head on her lap..
"Of course... It's 4 AM in the morning, and the first thing I see today is my girlfriend, who is a lecturer, sitting on the bed preparing notes for her class... Everything is perfect except for the fact that she's my girlfriend... The major question on my mind is why she isn't my wife yet.....so yeah I asked it "
Thulir smiled and shook her head in disbelief...
"Indeed, keep pondering that question yourself and now, hand me the note. Since yesterday was my first day at work and the class concluded with just the self-introduction, I need to commence the syllabus today. That's why I woke up early, so please don't disturb me now. "
Agathiyan sighed, stretched his arms with a yawn, and sat up beside her, leaning on her shoulder with his eyes closed. Thulir smiled and kissed his forehead, while he planted a kiss on her shoulder...
"Don't you want to marry me di Theeni?"
He asked again ...Thulir tilted her head and looked at him he raised his brows in questioning manner....she doesn't know why she find that beast man cute at that moment....Thulir bumped their head lightly asking
"Why ACP sir is hurry to get married now ???"
He signed and took a deep breath leaning back on the headboard he spoke..
"At 30, I'm not getting any younger, and neither are you, Thulir. While our secret love is thrilling, I crave stability at this point in my life. As the eldest in the family, it's not that my parents oppose marriage.... they have more life experience than we do. They're aware of our relationship and have given us the space we need, but that doesn't mean we should take it for granted. "
"We are not taking anyone for granted Agathiya...what exactly happened that is bothering you?"
Thulir inquired, intertwining her hands with his. His thumb traced the back of her palm as he looked at her....
"I over heard Nandhu patti and Devaki patti speaking with Amma and Perima and Athai about my marriage she insisted amma to talk with Uyir Atthai about your marriage too...
Both Perima and Amma defended us, asserting that our decision is important. However, they were left speechless after she questioned them, "If Gowri and Aashi Patti were still alive, would they also be this indifferent about their grandchildren's lives?" Devaki pattti questioned whether Perima's avoidance of this matter was due to Aadhavan's absence, which might be affecting her attention to the other children's lives, if yes then why didn't she made any effort to find where he is at least she should ask Maggi paa to allow me to find him "
"WHAATT.....HOW CAN THEY SAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT...and my Ammu just listen to that crap unbelievable ...and why the hell Devaki dragged Aadhavan in this....he left on his own no one asked him to leave.....its not like we are toxic family who pressurized him and kept him in jail and he left when he got his freedom......He left the people who took him when he have none and gave him everything....if he know how to leave everything behind he knows the way to come back too.....no one have to go and plead him to come back mainly Perimama and Periyathai....just because nadhu and Devaki is elders that doesn't mean they can say what ever crap comes to their mind "
Thulir expressed her discomfort with how the elder ladies spoke to her mother and aunts, and how they involved Aadhavan in their conversations, which revived painful memories she wished to forget.
Agathiyan furrowed hearing her words...
"Because they do care about us Thulir....and why are you getting angry at them for speaking about Aadhavan....actually they asked the perfect question which I should have raised when Magi paa objected me from finding Aadhu and closed all the doors to reach him just because of his anger and ego....yes I understand he is hurt to that doesn't mean he would let go of his son and won't bother about him all this years....
He was angry at Aadhu that's fine but stopping everyone else from concerning about him is not right at all.....and in this matter I support Nadhu and Devaki patti and I am surely going to confront Magi paa for sure.....
I'm aware that discussions about our marriage will arise soon. I want Aadhu to be present when that happens; he has been there for all my special moments, and I definitely want him there for my wedding as well. I've decided that I won't consider anyone else's opinion on this matter... "
He spoke with finality, then climbed out of bed and headed to the washroom. but stopped when Thulir asked him
"You want Aadhavan in our marriage???"
He turned back and nodded his head.....Thulir took a deep breath gulping the tears she asked shocking him
"As your brother or my groom Agathiya?"
"THULIR.....what are you blabbering huh?"
Agitated by her question, Agathiyan asked with rising anger. She gave a sad chuckle, descended from the bed, and approached him. Standing before him, she gazed intently into his eyes.
Thulir had already steeled herself for this confrontation. If they were considering taking the next step in their lives, she wanted to start without any secrets. If today was the day, then she was ready. With that resolve, Thulir took a deep breath.
"You never asked what was that last conversation I had with Aadhavan that night yet.......And I decided to say today........"
Agathiyan looked at her pointedly....
"Aadhavan confessed his feelings for me, which I immediately rejected, stating that my love is for you, not him. I shattered his heart, and you also played a role in causing that pain. He saw us together in his room, standing close, with you kissing my forehead....Aadhavan was the reason...His confession and his sudden disappearance was the reason I felt guilty and dejected, leading me to avoid you for those five years, causing pain to both of us.....Now do you still want Aadhavan to come back in our lives Agathiyaa..... "

Okay some one commented how Agathiyan would react if he gets to know Aadhavan left because of Thulir...
