I woke up at around 9 am. Ugh. I slowly crawled out of my sleeping bag and put my feet on the hard and crusty carpet and stood up. I stretched and moved my bed head out of my face. I opened my bag and grabbed a bar of soap and my shampoo and conditioner. I walked into the bathroom and started the shower. At least the shower was actually half decent. I took my clothes off and left them in a pile on the bathroom floor. I turned to look in the mirror and I gasped. The bruises I had all over my body from him last night. My hands lightly went over the biggest bruise which was right in my side. My hand touched it and hissed in pain. Shit. That hurt like a motherfucker. I took a shower to clear my mind. I stepped out of the shower when I was done and wrapped the motel towel around my body. I grabbed my old pile of clothes off my floor and walked back to my bag on the bed. I pulled out new clothes and got changed in my sleeping with sirens t-shirt with my blue skinny jeans. I took out my blow drier and dried my hair. I then brushed my straight blonde hair and did my makeup. I grabbed my bag and closed it after I put everything away. I opened up the door and went out to find some breakfast. I walked the busy streets of LA to find something to eat. My stomach was growling. I found a Starbucks about 10 blocks away and decided to get a coffee and a bagel. I walked into the small and quiet cafe and I walked up to the counter. I ordered my coffee and food and sat down by the window. I decided to do some people watching and looked at the people sitting around with their noses in their laptops and Starbucks cups in their hands. I heard the bell above the door jingle and I looked to the door to see a familiar looking guy. He looked around until he looked my way. I put my head down hoping he didn't recognize me. Too late. I looked up and saw him smirk and walk over to me. He walked to the other side of he table and pulled the chair out and took a seat.

"Hello." He said, "my name is Andy" I didn't answer. "What's your name?" I still didn't answer. I looked over to him and just rolled my eyes. I don't want to tell this strange man my name.

"Ashley Simmons!" The Starbucks lady called out. Ugh fuck. I stood up slowly and walked over to get my coffee and bagel. The man followed me up. He stood next to me, leaning in the counter. Smirking.

"Ah. So your name is Ashley?" He said.

"Well no fuck Einstein." I said sneering at him.

"Ooo fiesty." He laughed. I rolled my eyes and walked to sit down and he followed me. "I like it" he purred. I nearly gagged on the coffee in my mouth. I swallowed it and looked up at the man standing beside me.

"How do I say this nicely? Please fuck off and go somewhere else!" I snapped. I took a sip of my coffee and took my bagel out of its wrapping.

"First, I want to ask you a question." He said and sat down across from me.

"Okay." I sighed giving in and bit my bagel.

"Why were you at the bus station a few towns over at midnight?" He whispered close to my ear. I choked a little on my bagel. Surprised.

"What are you talking about?" I asked quietly. Acting like I didn't know what he was talking about.

"Cut the shit. I know it was you at the bus station last night. Now why?" He asked crossing his arms and leaning in closer to me.

"Now how do you know if it was me?" I asked. He smirked. Not like the other nasty ass smirks he gave me. This one.. Well this one looked like he was thinking of something good. Something that made him happy...

"I could never forget a face as beautiful as yours." He smiled and looked at me. I felt myself blush.

"W-wow. T-th-thanks." I stuttered like an idiot. Did he just say I'm beautiful? Wow. Maybe I can trust him. "Okay. I'll tell you... " I took a deep breath and look Andy in the eyes. "I was running away."

"What? Why?!" He asked surprised and almost jumped out of his seat.

"God chill pretty boy. That's a story you will never know. Now if you don't mind," I said as I got up, " I really have to be on my way. It was nice talking to you, really" I began to walk away when someone grabbed my wrist. I turned around and saw Andy.

"That's it? You are just going to go? Leave? But where?" He asked with pleading eyes.

"I don't feel comfortable telling you that. I literally just met you." I said.

"But I don't want you to leave." He whispered.

"What?" I asked surprised. Did he just say what I think he said? Damn this boy.

"N-nothing. Will I ever see you again?" He asked.

"Maybe." I said and grabbed my bag and left the man named Andy to stand there. I looked back behind me and saw him standing there still... staring at me. I shook my head and walked out of Starbucks and began my walk to my nasty motel. Just as I felt a rain drop fall on my head.
