"YOU KNOW WHAT THIS CASTLE NEEDS? A TRAIN, OR SOME SORT OF TRANSPORTATION. We have magic, we can do that." Anastasia huffed, trying to catch her breath. Professor Slughorn had let the class out late, which left them with less than five minutes to scramble to the other side of the castle for Transfiguration.

"Oh we do, that would be so helpful." Pandora agreed, using the railing to pull herself up the stairs. She briefly stopped to reposition her books, and then continued on her way. "I hate walking so much. And up the stairs too, that's the worst of it."

"I really do wish our classrooms were closer together." Rory added in. He was lagging behind the two girls, despite his best attempts to keep up. "It would be so much easier, and we'd stop having to be late to all our classes."

"That just makes so much more sense." Pandora agreed. "They should've picked a smaller castle. Or put all our classrooms on the same floor at least, these stairs are a killer. I don't know how we're going to do this every day for the next seven years."

Anastasia nodded in agreement. The Transfiguration classroom was in sight, she had nearly made it! Just as she is about to step off the last lot of stairs, someone called from behind the trio.

"Anastasia... Wait!" The person shouted. "Slow down!" When the voice caught up to them, Anastasia found herself face to face with Narcissa (who was seemingly just as out of breath as they were) who grabbed her shoulder. "Can I speak to you for a moment? It'll only be quick."

Anastasia stood still in her place, but she didn't turn around, refusing to meet her sisters eye. "This is not a good time, Narcissa. Not a good time at all. Professor McGonagall will be extremely unhappy with me if I'm late to her class again." She said shortly, shaking of Narcissa's hand.

The fact that Anastasia called her Narcissa- and not Cissy, as she always did- was not lost on the elder sister, but Narcissa did her best to ignore it. "Very well, then." She said, nodding her head. "You are to meet me in the Slytherin Common Room, after class ends. I'll be waiting."

Now, Anastasia really did turn around. She stared up at Narcissa as though she'd suddenly grown a second head. "And how in Merlin's name do you possibly expect me to enter the Slytherin Common Room? I'm not sure if you've forgotten... but I'm not actually a Slytherin. I can't exactly waltz my way in." She protested.

"Someone will be there to open the door for you." Narcissa responded, an unusual hint of desperation in her voice. This was Narcissa Black after all, such displays of emotion were forbidden. "You're a Black, everyone knows who you are. If you can't get in for some reason, I'll simply meet you outside the door. Don't be late."
