In a grand mansion across town, a young man in his late twenties wakes up. The room was a study in shadow. No light dared pierce the heavy dark grey curtains that draped the windows. The boy stirred, then with a resolute movement, threw back the curtains. A wave of sunlight flooded the room, chasing away the gloom. The walls themselves were painted a deep charcoal grey, a color mirrored in the thick curtains. The decor was sparse, almost monastic. It felt like a space designed for someone who valued simplicity and function over clutter and ornamentation. The sunlight fall in his face making him look handsome even in the morning. He silences his alarm and gets ready for the day, his outfit conveying both confidence and professionalism.
He sets out to find his grandmother, who’s performing her morning prayers in the house temple on the other side of the mansion. He silently walk towards her and said " Good morning dadi". Upon seeing her grandson, she greets him warmly. "Good morning billu". He inquires about her breakfast and medicine, and she assures him she’s taken care of both. She then asks him to wake his brothers.
He first heads to his younger brother’s room. Omkara is already awake, practicing yoga. They greet each other, and Shivay asks if he’s finished. They decide to wake up their most pampered brother, Rudra, together.
Rudra, the youngest, is still in college and known for disliking studies, much to his family's disappointment. Omkara, the artistic middle brother, and Shivay, the eldest, are both successful in their own ways. Shivay, also known as Billu to his grandmother, is the CEO of Oberoi Industries, a family business founded by their grandfather and a leading company in India. Oberoi Industries faces stiff competition from Singhania Industries, another giant, and both hold top positions in various sectors. Shivay’s expertise lies in construction, architecture, and real estate, where he reigns supreme. His uncle manages the other family businesses. Their father, uninterested in business himself, simply advises and follows his elder brother’s lead.
This mansion is the Oberoi mansion, home to a large extended family. The elder son, Tej, is in charge of Oberoi Industries with his wife Jhanvi. They have two sons, Omkara and Rudra. Shakti, the younger son, and his wife Pinki have Shivay, the eldest grandchild, and their daughter Priyanka. Shivay became CEO, a decision that irks his uncle whose own son is younger and uninterested in business. Despite his reservations, Tej doesn’t want the company to fall into outside hands, so he reluctantly accepts Shivay and grooms him from a young age.
The story follows the lives of the three Oberoi brothers: Shivay, the CEO of Oberoi Industries, Omkara, the artist, and Rudra, the carefree college student. Despite the challenges, the brothers find moments of connection. Their grandmother watches over them with concern, especially Shivay, who shoulders a heavy burden.
After a struggle, Rudy finally wakes up and joins his brothers for a obro hug without washing his face first. They hug him for few minutes then send him off to clean up before heading to the dining room.
The house's princess, Priyanka who has gone to study at her only friend house was a shy and gentle soul. She wasn't typical pampered socialite. Sheltered by her three brothers throughout her life, she blossomed into a talented fashion design student in her final year. Despite her artistic passion, social situations left her tongue-tied, a nervous stutter betraying her anxieties. Accustomed to her brothers making decisions, she lacked confidence in voicing her own opinions. Though not spoiled by wealth, her sheltered upbringing left her with limited social circles and a yearning for deeper connections
The large dining table has eight chairs on each side. Servants set the breakfast as the family gathers. The grandmother arrives first, followed by Shakti and Pinki. Tej joins them a few minutes later, requesting that food be brought to Jhanvi in her room as she’s hungover. This disappoints their grandmother. Shivay and Omkara arrive next, followed by Rudy.
The grandmother announces a visit to a temple their family trust manages as a guest of honor, and invites everyone to join. Tej declines due to a meeting, while Shakti and Pinki agree to attend. Omkara has prior commitments, and Shivay also has a meeting. Seeing her disappointment, Rudy volunteers to accompany her, using the opportunity to skip some studies. Unable to bear his grandmother’s sadness, Shivay agrees to pick her up after the event. Everyone finishes breakfast and departs for their respective duties.
Shivay call his personal bodyguard Khanna who was also the head of security of Oberoi Mansion."Khanna, please ensure Dadi doesn't face any difficulties getting to the venue for the temple visit. Make sure she has everything she needs, and don't forget to remind me later that I need to pick her up from the temple afterwards." Shivay order Khanna. "Yes sir, I will make sure that dadi does not faces any problem while going to the venue."Khanna replied to his boss.
Khanna, a man of action, barked out orders to the other guards, his voice leaving no room for argument. With a determined glint in his eye, he then marched back to the parking lot. There, a sleek black Mercedes awaited, its gleaming form a stark contrast to the tense atmosphere. Khanna slid behind the wheel, the powerful engine purring to life beneath his command.
His mission was clear: Shivay. Khanna expertly steered the car towards him, pulling up with a smooth precision that spoke of experience. He emerged from the vehicle, the door swinging open with a flourish to reveal a welcoming interior. A silent invitation for Shivay to enter.Duty done, Khanna hopped back into the driver's seat, his focus now set on delivering Shivay safely to the office. The Mercedes surged forward, leaving behind a trail of dust and the unspoken promise of what awaited them at their destination.
Shivay, a young CEO with striking good looks, entered his office building with a determined purpose. He bypassed all distractions, his greeting to his secretary curt. The entire office fell silent the moment he stepped through the doors. Not a sound could be heard – a stark contrast to the usual workday hum. The women couldn't help but admire him, while the men secretly envied his rise to power at such a young age.
Mishra, Shivay's ever-reliable secretary, followed him into his office, presenting him with a packed schedule. Shivay, however, had a personal obligation. "Clear anything at 5 PM," he instructed. "I need to pick up my grandma from the temple." Without question, Mishra went to adjust the schedule, ensuring Shivay could fulfill both his professional and familial duties
