Why Us? (a Harry potter Next Generation fan fic)

Chapter 10

I couldn't remember if Fred told me where to meet him. So I ran to the Great Hall. Everybody was almost done eating, and Fred was nowhere to be seen.

"Hey Izzy, do you know where Fred is? He told me to meet him this morning, remember?" I asked, walking up to her.

"Yeah, he told us that if you show up, to tell you to go to the Astronomy tower. Are you feeling any better?" Izzy asked.

"Yeah, I guess I am." I said. I still had a headache but it seemed to be going away. "Okay, I'll see you later, guys."

"Don't do anything bad, Alexis," Izzy yelled. My hair turned bright pink and my face heated up. She laughed and turned back to her plate.

I ran out of the Great Hall, towards the Astronomy tower, when I seen Scorpious and Tina talking. I had to pass them to get to the Astronomy tower and they seemed to be in deep conversation. Maybe I could pass them without them noticing me.

I started to pass by, almost running past them. "Where are you off to, Waters?" Malfoy said.

"None of your business, Malfoy," I said, teaching the bottom of the steps. All I had to do is climb them, and maybe I would be safe from them. I heard Tina whisper something to Scorpious, but I didn't catch exactly what is was.

I started to climb, but the bad thing was there.were so many stairs. I made it what I thought was halfway up when I heard footsteps behind me. That's when I started to run. But being the clumsy oaf that I am, I fell up the steps.

"What's the matter, Waters. Scared of something?" I heard Scorpious say behind me. I jumped up and started to run again.

"Leave me alone, Malfoy!" I yelled. I didn't know what he was going to do but I wasn't going to stick around to find out. I ran and ran but I could still hear the footsteps behind me.

I was just a few steps away from the top, from Fred, when Scorpious grabbed me from behind. I panicked and kicked out behind me but hit nothing.

"Fred! Help me! Scorpious has got-" I started to yell out but he slapped his sweaty hand across my mouth. As much as I hated it, I bit his hand and he yelped in surprise. I went to elbow him in the face but he caught my arm.

"Calm down, Waters! I'm not going to hurt you, yet." He hissed. I went to yell out again but he stuffed a piece of cloth in my mouth. Then he started to drag me back down the stairs. I was trying to twist and turn in his arms but I couldn't break free.

When he first grabbed me, I didn't think of getting my wand out. It was too late now anyways, I couldn't reach my wand. Then an idea came to me. I could use my tongue to push out the cloth and yell out to Fred again. Usually, I hated to ask for help, but this was an emergency.

We were halfway down the stairs and the cloth was almost out of my mouth. Finally I spit it out and started to yell out again.

"Fred! Please! Help me!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. Then Scorpious slapped me across the face.

"Shut it, Waters! Stop squirming and I won't hurt you as bad I as intend!" He yelled. That really pissed me off. Nobody slaps me and tells me what to do. My hair turned bright red and I could feel my temper rise. Then I seen a flash of red hair. It wasn't my own and I don't think I imagined it.

I was still squirming when we reached the bottom of the stairs. He dragged me through the corridors, to the 7th floor. How we got through without anybody seeing, I have no idea.

Scorpious paced in front of the wall 3 times and a door appeared. I knew I couldn't let him take me in that door. I kicked behind me and hit his knee. He loosened his grip and I twisted away from him. Of course, at that moment I fell on my face.

I jumped back up and turned to him. He was coming towards me and I went to kick him in the stomach. That was my mistake.

He grabbed my foot and pulled. I fell on the floor and hit my head, hard. My vision went blurry and he went to pick me up. I still tried to fight but I was dizzy and couldn't see very well. Then we went into the room.

From what I could see, there was a huge fireplace, some chairs, and a bed. Scorpious threw me down in one of the chairs, and started to pace in front of the fireplace.

"Do you know what Tina told me?" He asked. When I didn't answer, he continued. "She told me to torture you. She didn't say how but I've an idea. I got it from a 7th year Slytherin. He was going to do it to a Ravenclaw and explained everything to me."

My vision was starting to clear up some, and I seen that there was only one chair. Not two, must have been seeing double but that didn't matter.

Scorpious stopped pacing and started to walk over to my chair. He leaned over me, pinning my hands down.

"You see, my idea of torture will tear you apart inside. It's wasn't really my idea, but I'm going to use it." He whispered.

"Get away from me!" I yelled. I started to kick him in the knees. Anything to get him away from me. He fell down and I tried to get up. I went to run towards the door but he grabbed my foot and I fell. I hit my head again, and my vision blurred. I also twisted my ankle when he grabbed it and it was throbbing painfully.

"Fred! Where are you!" I cried out. Scorpious was starting to get up. I tried to crawl towards the door but he grabbed my ankle and yanked. I yelped and tears started to stream down my face.

"You're not going to leave without me have my fun, now are you?" He asked, grinning wickedly.

"Why are you doing this?" I asked. Maybe I could stall and somebody would come.

"Well, you see, Tina has promised me that her uncle would reward me if I helped her. So I'm helping her." He said.

"What have I ever done to you?"

"Nothing," he said simply. He picked me up and dropped me. "Oops, looks like I've gotten a bit clumsy."

My vision was worse than ever, and it wasn't getting better. I knew any moment now I would black out, and I didn't know what would happen if I did. My vison grew darker. The last thing I remember was somebody yelling. "Get away from her!"
