jungwon heard the keys jingle as he sat on the couch in worry that he would have to tell sunghoon he was pregnant. the door creaked open along with sunghoon greeting the two dogs at the entrance. his stare went to jungwon who was laying on the sofa covering his stomach.
"what's wrong honey?" sunghoon asked comfortably but yet with a blank expression. jungwon got even more tense when his husband's breath hitched on his neck as sunghoon hugged him from behind. he felt he couldn't even talk.
"sunghoon, i-i need to tell you something." jungwon said shyly, still trying not to cry at the thought of all the pain he would have to go through for his husband and his baby, and he didn't want to have either of those things, he wanted to not have as many responsibilities. jungwon knew they were going to be a huge part of his life and he couldn't do anything about it.
"i'm pregnant." said the younger who just let out a sob because he couldn't hold it in. sunghoon's eyes widened with his mouth becoming agape but cracking a smile. he pulled jungwon into a sweet hug making him just as shocked as the other.
"shh sweetheart. it'll be fine as long as i'm here. just think of me as your safe place, you don't have to be scared of me. we'll take care of the baby together." sunghoon massaged jungwon's back as the cat-looking boy stuffed his face in sunghoon's neck. the park put his hands inside of jungwon's shirt and carried him to their bed, tucking him safely inside the blankets.
"get some rest wonnie, i'll make you some dinner." sunghoon said sweetly kissing his forehead and exited to the kitchen, his sweetness made jungwon lost in his thoughts. was he really this comforting? he knew he couldn't help but think of the reason he became pregnant, it was because of park sunghoon. just one show of affection made jungwon's nerves go crazy.
was he finally falling in love?
