It is almost here," Mike said ominously.

"What is it?" Will asked nervously

"What if it's the Demogorgon?" Dustin panics. Everyone groans. "Oh Jesus we're so screwed if it's the Demogorgon." Dustin moans.

"It's not the Demogorgon." Lucas said annoyed.

"An army of troglodytes charges into the chamber!" Mike booms.

"Troglodytes?" Dusty questioned.

"Told ya." Lucas said.

"Wait a minute" Mike says softly. "Did you hear that? That... that sounds? Boom... boom." he said quietly. "BOOM!" He yelled slamming his hands on the table. "That didn't come from the troglodytes. No that..." Mike trailed off. "that came from something else" he practically whispered. "THE DEMOGORGON!" He yelled slamming the demogorgon on the table.

We all groaned. "We're are in deep shit, guys." I grumbled softly sinking into my chair.

"Will, your action!" Mike yelled at Will.

"I don't know." he said.

"Fireball him!" Lucas yelled a him.

"I'd have to roll at thirteen or higher!" He yelled back.

"Too risky cast a protection spell," Dustin said calmly.

"Don't be a pussy. Fireball him!" Lucas yelled.

"Cast protection." Dustin snapped back. Mike slammed his fists on the table and yelled.

"The demogorgon is tried of your silly human bickering! It stomps towards you. Boom!"

"Fireball him!" Lucas yelled. Will looked to me, I looked at him and mouthed 'boom' and mimicked an explosion with my hands, referencing that I think he should fireball him.

"Another stomp. Boom!" Mike yelled.

"Cast protection." Dustin tried.

"He roars in anger!" Mike yelled. They all yelled over each other, fighting over what Will should do, I stayed silent a usual.

"Fireball!" Will yelled and threw the die.

"Shit," I mumbled quietly as I got up to look for the die.

"Where'd it go?" Mike asked.

"where is it?" Lucas asked.

"I don't know." Will and I said at the same time. We crawled on the floor looking for the die.

"Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God," Dustin said really fast.

"Mike!?" Mike's mom yelled down the stairs. I didn't hear Mike's mom call and I crawled to the bottoms of the stairs. "Mike!" Mike's mom surprised me. I whipped my hard up fast, too fast, my smashed into Mike's.

"Ow!" Mike and I yelled. "Mom we're in the middle of a campaign." Mike moaned

"You mean the end. Fifteen after." she said and walked away.

I groaned at the same time as Mike. The amount of times I had come to Mike's house crying because of my dad being too intoxicated and it being to overwhelming was too much, I basically lived at the Wheelers half the time. So I followed Mike up the stairs hoping to help him to get more time for our campaign. She said no so I quickly ran downstairs before Mike and grabbed my coat.

"Does a the seven count?" Will asked. "It was a seven?" Lucas asked.

"Did Mike see it?" Lucas asked. Will shook his head

"Then it doesn't count." I chimed in quietly. I grabbed Will's jacket and handed it to him. He quickly put it on, and we headed up the stairs.

Dustin was last up the stairs, me being first.
