I had moved to another state for college with the help of Ranpo, of course, as he'd always helped through rough times even when it came with my situation with my parents.

After a few days, I had settled in the house, though it did feel quite uneasy like something was watching me as I was watching TV. I heard a bang come from the attic. I grabbed a pan and held it up, my anxiety starting to creep up on me as I git closer to the attic drawdown. I pulled down the stairs and looked up in the darkness, then Ranpo popped out from the darkness that engulfed the attic as it had no light bulb

"Oh, hi, atashi!"

Ranpo smiled at me

"Holy crap Ranpo you scared me,"

I said, looking at Ranpo as he grabbed something

"Look what I found!"

Ranpo grabbed a box I suppose he'd found in the attic he handed me the box and walked down the stairs , folded the stairs, and put the drawdown back up.

I looked at the box that looked like a small music box

"Uh, what's this?"

I asked Ranpo as he sat down on my couch. I followed him not far behind

"Obviously, a music box anyway. Let's open it up. I wonder what type of music it plays!"

I sighed and tried opening the music box only to see if it needed a key to be opened

"Ranpo, it needs a key."

I said, looking at him as he looked disappointed

"Aw man, well anyway, I've gotta go, or Poe will start to worry,"

Ranpo said, walking out the front door, but as he left, I felt the urge to search the attic for the key to the music box.so I set down the music box and grabbed a flashlight from the kitchen counter and pulled down the drawdown unfolding the stair and stepped up into.the attic I looked around and then saw someone with pitch black hair with frost white tips he was wearing a black coat with more black clothes with white shirt underneath and some high heel boots I looked at the boy my eyes wide how did someone even end up in here and how did Ranpo not notice him!?

I shook the boy trying to shake him awake, but when I touched him, he disappeared into the wind. I sat there, and for a moment, I thought I was going insane so I left the attic and closed the drawback, deciding I'd just go take a much needed nap. I walked to my room, closing the door behind me ploping onto my bed
