Chapter one "Signs"

Everything will be in Tsuyus Pov unless specifically said

I was walking in the hall with my usual group of friends which consisted of, Midoriya, Lida, Todoroki, and of course Uraraka. They were chatting as I listened in. I walked slightly behind the group due to the little space in the hallway but didn't think much of it. It was just a slight inconvenience. Then Mina-chan  came up and started talking to me.

"Hey, Mina-chan." I said as I smiled.

"Asui I said you don't have to call me all that. Just say Mina" she teased.

"Well I mean I told you to call me Tsu."

"That's true" She said as she paused. "Hey what's your full name anyways? You always go by Tsu."

I glanced at her. "Well the original name was going to be Tsuyu since my parents thought they were pregnant with a girl. But surprise. So they ended up changing it to Tsukio" I explained.

"Whoa I had no idea. Hold on come here." Mina muttered.

I hummed in confusion.

"you really need to start combing your hair more often, otherwise one day your hair will look like Bakugou's." She joked as she pulled out a brush and began styling my hair in the middle of the hall.

"HAH? WHAT DID YOU SAY PINKY?!" Bakugou yelled from the whole entire other side of the hall. How he hear us? Beats me.

I busted out in laughter as Bakugou stomped over.

"Shut it frog face " he grumbled.

"I like my frog look."

Bakugou tsked and stomped off.

I hissed as Mina pulled my hair slightly. "Mina, don't you think it'd be better to wait till we're in class sitting?"

"Yeahh I mean I guess. How are you so tender headed?" She questioned.

I shrugged.

Ahido groaned as we kept walking. That's when j glanced ahead to see that Ochaco and the others were way ahead and already stopped at breakfast. I frowned slightly.

Its kind of my fault since I stopped to talk to Mina.

"Tsukio~" Mina snapped me out of my slight trance.

"Huh?" I muttered.

"What are you staring at? Or is it who are you staring at?"

"What no way! Who do you think I'd be looking at anyways?" I quickly defended.

"Its obviously Ochaco " she teased.

"No way, you know how into Midoriya she is." I defended.

"I guess" she muttered.

"Were just friends anyways"

"Okay Adrien."

Adrien? An American name who's that?

"Adrien?" I repeated.

"You know like Miraculous Ladybug? Like Adrian Agress?"

"I never watched it"

Mina gasp and started bombarding me with questions and criticizing my lack of a childhood.

It isn't really my fault. I just was always busy watching over my siblings. I just never had time and enjoy myself in junior high.

By the time I snapped out it I was sitting in the back of class as Mina combed and styled my hair. I really didn't mind anyways.  Midoriya and some others walked in.

"how come you didnt walk with them today?" Mina asked.

I shrugged "I mean you didn't walk with Bakugou and em'"

"Fair"

As Mr Aizawa walked in the class fell silent and Mina let go of my hair as well. He started rambling about a project with partners. I really wasn't listening  too much. I really have been spending too much time with kaminari.

I looked at Uraraka and walked up to her. She was usually my partner. "Hey Ochaco, want to be my pair?"

That's when I heard something I hadn't expected.
"No, well I mean you're not really great with this subject and I'm tired of always doing most of the work, plus its always boring when I do it with you." She said blankly.

"O-oh okay.."

Well what ever happened to the worst she can do is say no? Its whatever though. I'm not the greatest at this subject anyways. Maybe ill ask Lida.

I walked over to lida "He-"

"Not a chance." He interrupted me. "I'm already pairing with Ochaco-chan plus you're kinda a dumbass, no offense I just don't want to get a bad grade on this."

"Its fine I guess"

There goes my back up plan. Being called an idiot hits different when its lida. I'm not even that stupid. Our whole entire group is smart.

I decided on glancing on Todoroki when he simply shook his head. Assuming he paired with Midoriya I just sighed. Then tokoyami tapped my shoulder.

"Oh hey Toko." I smiled.

"Tsukio, want to be my pair. Shoji got sick." He muttered.

I like Tokoyami but I was hoping to work with my group of friends. He's one of my Brest friends and he's funny. His jokes can be oddly dark though.

"Sure."

But there was only one thing on my mind.

Why is everyone acting weird today?
