(Gonna be a little sad once again. Enjoy guys)!

It was a sad day among the crowd. Queen Aemma and Prince Baelon's funeral. Everyone stood in silence, waiting for Rhaenyra to give Syrax the command to set the pyres on fire. Jahaenya could wait all day. She didn't mind, as she wasn't ready to say goodbye to her mother. Lucius stood next to Alicent and gazed at his best friend with tears in his eyes. He knew what she was going through, and so badly wished she didn't have to face that.

Daemon walked over and stood behind Rhaenyra and Jahaenya. "They're waiting for you." He softly whispered. "I wonder if, during those few hours my brother lived, my father finally found happiness." Rhaenyra muttered in High Valyrian. "Your father needs you. More now than he ever has." Daemon said, trying to console her a little. "I will never be a son." She cried. "She's right. If either me or Rhaenyra were born sons, our mother will still be alive. And Father would be happier." Jahaenya whispered, tears streaming down her face. Daemon couldn't say anything to console them. He didn't know what to say.

Rhaenyra walked forward, gazing at Viserys with an emotional stare. "Dracarys!" Rhaenyra commanded. Syrax walked forward, and set the pyres on fire. Rhaenyra looked away whilst Jahaenya buried her face on Daemon's side, feeling his hand rubbing her back to comfort her. It was miserable seeing their bodies burning. All because of Viserys' actions.

In Jahaenya's chambers, all she could do was lay on her bed and cry. There was nothing else better to do. Even with Lucius laying there beside her. He didn't know what to say either. He didn't know how to comfort his best friend, despite the fact that he also went through the same pain. However, Jahaenya's pain was different. She lost her baby brother. He didn't lose any siblings. The best he could do was whisper comforting words to her and hug her.

"Why Lulu? Why did this have to happen?" Jahaenya sniffled. "I don't know, Yaya. The Gods are very cruel." Lucius muttered, rubbing her shoulder as she curled into his side. "What if the Gods don't exist? If the Gods existed, they would've given my father a son, and my mother and Baelon wouldn't have died. Mother's five previous pregnancies wouldn't have failed if they existed. The Gods would've stopped my father and wouldn't have allowed him to have the maesters cut my mother open like she was some kind of meat!" Jahaenya sobbed.

Lucius widened his eyes, not knowing that that was how Queen Aemma died. He thought the blood loss was because of the birth, not because she was cut open. His father told him she lost a lot of blood, but hadn't specified how. Lucius attributed the blood loss to Baelon being delivered naturally. "How do you know that?" He asked, frightened of the answer. "I overheard the maesters talking. Father only thought about the babe, and not about my mother's life. He was so desperate for an heir that he was willing to let my mother die without even thinking about how she'd feel or knowing that she'd leave behind Rhaenyra and I. Now, it was all for nothing, because Baelon died too!" She cried.

Lucius hugged Jahaenya once again, letting her cry on him. Guilt enveloped him. Guilt for Rhaenyra, Jahaenya, and Aemma. That was incredibly cruel of Viserys and even the maesters. Childbirth is cruel enough as it is, and it became even more horrible knowing things like that could happen. Lucius made himself a promise. If he ever got married and had a wife, he'd be by her side and support her during childbirth, if she wanted children. If she didn't, he wouldn't mind whatsoever. That's better than dying horribly and painfully.

(Well, that was sad. I hope y'all enjoyed this chapter! More coming soon! See y'all there)!
