Back in 2004-

"Alright Heejin, look at the camera because I'm setting the timer now, okay?" Jungkook says with a joyous flush to his cheeks as he secures the tripod and quickly stands beside Heejin so they can both be captured together.

"Say cheese!!"

Click!!! click!!!

Everyone at the university was enjoying the graduation ceremony, including a couple who had completed their degrees that day. Jungkook was checking the photos he had taken with his girlfriend on his camera to see if they had turned out well.

"I think this photo is the best, Heejin. I'm going to enlarge it and hang it on the wall at home, what do you think?" he said, looking at her with a self-satisfied twinkle in his eye.

"Of course, it will catch my eye every time we go down the stairs," Heejin added.

"Daddy...." A small child's voice was heard from behind, arms spread wide like a bird's, running towards them. Jungkook chuckled and lifted the child into a spin, saying, "My sweetheart."

"cOnGrAtuLaTiOn~~~~~" Jungkook laughed at his 5-year-old daughter's muffled words and pinched her cheek gently, finding her hesitant speech incredibly cute.

"So, sweetheart, who brought you here?"

"Joonie uncle."

"Really! Where is he then?" Jungkook asked curiously, looking around. His close friend Namjoon was nowhere to be seen when he felt a tap on his other shoulder. Turning around, he saw a tall man with dimples, smiling and holding a bouquet of flowers.

Although it was a struggle for Jungkook to hold both the bouquet and his daughter at the same time, Heejin stepped forward to help.

"Jungkook, hand Younie over to me," Heejin said, taking her daughter into her arms, while Namjoon hugged his friend to congratulate him.

"Congratulations to both of you for graduating together. I thought you might give up on your studies after Younie was born, but you kept going," Namjoon said.

"What to do, hyung. Sometimes you have to be responsible and stand up for your family. Look, I'm an orphan, but still, you, Heejin, and my sweetheart always give me the courage to move forward. What more could a person want? My life is complete," Jungkook replied.

"If it's any consolation, I've already found a job for you. You can join in a few days."

"Really, hyung!" Jungkook exclaimed excitedly, his doe-brown eyes sparkling. He was so happy that he grabbed his friend's hand.
