- It seems that the princess has gotten herself into trouble, a voice says.

- Ugh, I groan. I can hear someone speaking, but it's hard to stay focused. It soon feels like my body is being lifted up by some unknown force.

- Huh, I ask.

- There you are. I was almost convinced you wouldn't wake up, Trevor says. I sluggishly move around, slowly gaining control of my body.

- What happened, I ask.

- You tell me, Trevor says. I think hard about the last moments I remember.

- Well, I was at the Seduction dormitory. Some student offered me a dessert to eat. After I ate it, I began to feel woozy, I explain.

- Are you an imbecile. Don't just accept food from strangers, Trevor yells. Before I can say anything else, my pupils shrink and I begin to scramble. It's now that I realize I'm being carried by a sexy demon.

- Put me down, I stutter.

- What the hell are you doing with her, Trevor, Adal asks. We both turn to see Adal, Dante, and Draco. Trevor clicks his tongue and lowers me to the ground.

- Oh, so now you're concerned about the human. She was lying on the floor unconscious after someone gave her a treat from your dorm, Dante, Trevor says.

- Princess, is this true. Did you have one of our sensuous goodies, Draco asks.

- Yes, I say.

- That's odd, the ingredients in those aren't supposed to be that toxic on humans, Dante says.

- How irresponsible, Dante, Draco says.

- Hey, I had nothing to do with this. The last time we spoke, Kira was awake and aware, Dante says. Adal slaps his hand onto his forehead.

- What a pain. And this is the exact reason we need to keep an eye on her. Humans don't have the capacity to make logical decisions, Adal says.

- How ironic, Trevor says. Adal gives him a death glare before shifting his focus on me.

- And you, Adal says. He shortens the distance between us and leans in, his face contorted in sheer anger.

- How could you be so stupid. For your own damned well.being, don't trust anyone but us, Adal says. I gulp down whatever words I was trying to say, nodding instead. With that, he storms off.

- That moron. Always making every situation worse, Trevor says.

- Are you feeling better, Kira, Dante asks.

- I think so, I say. I stand up, able to keep my balance.

- Perfect. If you can walk, you can check out my domain, Trevor says.

- Wait. I don't think I'm, I say. Trevor grabs my arm and sweeps me off my feet. Again.

- We don't have all day, Trevor says.

- Wait, she needs to rest, Draco says.

Trevor soon locks us inside a dungeon-like room.

- There we go, Trevor says. He grabs my shirt and pulls me close so I'm pressed up against his chest.

- We're not done until I say so. Be a good little human for me, got it, Trevor says.

- And what if I'm not. A lock isn't going to keep me here, I say. He bears his fangs, leaning in as if he were going to take a bite out of me.

- Well, in that case, Trevor says. He reaches into his pocket and grabs a pair of handcuffs, dangling them in my face. He grabs my wrist and shackles me to him.
