Great. It just has to fucking rain. I pulled my book bag off my back and put my bag that had my bagel in it, so it wouldn't get wet as I walked back. I closed my bag and put it back on my shoulders. I held my Starbucks coffee close to my chest with my hands wrapped around it, keeping them warm. I walked in the cold rain, until a black car pulled up beside me."Hey baby cakes. Need a ride?" The man said. I looked in the car. I recognized that raven black hair and blue eyes anywhere. And that smooth and deep voice. What?! Snap out of it Ash.
"No thanks Andy." I said and looked away.
"Come on. Please. It's raining. Wouldn't you like to get in this nice, warm , and dry car?" I didn't dare look at him. "Come on. I'm trying to do something nice here" he sighed. I slowly turned my head towards him.
"You're not gonna try to kidnap me are you?" I smiled a little. Andy laughed.
"Nah I promise I won't. Especially because you could probably beat my ass if I tried." He smiled. "Now... About my offer?"
"Ugh fine!" I sighed yet smiled. I walked over to his car and opened the door and I got in. I buckled up and he drove off. I sat there in my wet and nasty and soggy clothes.
"Where are your staying at?" He asked me with his eyes on the road.
"You know that really nice five star hotel el Delarosa?" I asked. He nodded. "I'm staying at the place across the street. The stay and pay." Andy scrunched up his face in disgust. It was actually kinda cute. STOP IT ASH. You don't have feelings for this man. You don't even know who he is.
"Ew really? That place is shitty." I nodded. We drove in silence until Andy spoke. "You know I have an extra room in my house. I don't live with anyone. Maybe you would like to?" Wait.. Did he just ask me to live with him? Why me? Out of everyone? He literally just met me and he is inviting me to live in his house with him? He doesn't know me that well. For all he knows, I could be a serial killer. I contemplated then sighed in defeat. It's not like I have any other choice. Anywhere is better than that motel... and at home. With HIM. But I don't know Andy that well..
"Thanks Andy, but I don't know you that well. And I don't want to intrude on you. Thanks, but no thanks. You can just drop me off at the motel." I said and looked out the window.
"No it's fine. Come on, please? It would be nice to have someone around..." He pleaded. I sighed.
"Fine."
"Yay!!" He squealed like a little girl. I laughed at his stupidness and childishness. We drove for a few minutes and finally pulled up to his house. It thankfully stopped raining, but my clothes were still soggy. I looked at his house and all I had to say was dang! It was huge! At least 3 stories tall! And by the smell, it had a pool. Andy got out of the car and ran to my side to open the door for me. What a gentleman. He went to get my bag for me, but I quickly grabbed it and put it on my back. He looked shocked and confused, but shook it off and held his hand out for me to take. I laughed and took his hand, blushing. He walked to the door and unlocked it and opened it up.
"Welcome home Ashley." Andy smiled. Finally. Home.
