Minna's dorm number should not have been known to Ichirou.

She stared at the man in her doorway before hurriedly stepping aside and offering him a seat, a drink—no. He didn't want anything.

Minna exhaled slowly. "I am going to tell my roommates not to come back for a little bit," she said hesitantly.

He waved her away calmly. "Alright."

Minna let her shoulders relax as she walked to the kitchen—filling a glass of water and sipping it as she texted Cat, Laila, and Jeremy not come back to the dorm until she texted them again. Once she received an affirmative, Minna walked back to the living room and placing two glasses on the coffee table.

Ichirou studied her. "You're doing more than you should for me to feel welcome."

Minna sighed weakly. "I wanted to ask you something. It's a very big request... and I don't want you to think I expect you to agree."

The older man rolled his hand for her to continue.

"I would like to become a main family asset. Riko... he does terrible things. Kevin's hand was shattered because of his rage. Jean was... he was just utterly destroyed taking punches meant for me. I can't... I can't stay under his control."

Ichirou studied her face. "I will contact my father."

Minna managed a nod.

"If he agrees, you will play Exy until you can play no longer and give us fifty percent of your professional salary."

Minna nodded firmly. She could more than deal with that.

"If he does not..."

Minna winced. "I know."

He nodded. "Good. Then we're done here."

Minna opened her mouth wordlessly. Ichirou threw her a look.

"Would you like me to stay?"

"Please?"

He rolled his eyes but sat on the couch. Minna sat in her chair and sipped her water, anxiously looking everywhere but the future mafia boss.

Minna left the room as he called his father. There was no reason for her to listen in and she figured Ichirou wouldn't appreciate her eavesdropping.

So she sat in the kitchen and scrolled through news articles, keeping distracted. She looked up when she sensed him looking in the doorway. She stood.

"My father has agreed," Ichirou said with a shrug. "You are now an asset of the main family, not Tetsuji and Riko."

Minna managed a smile. "Thank you."

She bowed until he left. Then she texted her brother.

She was free to live the life she always wanted.

Yay Minna! I'm moving her along quicker because it kinda makes more sense to me to have her going along with her stuff faster than the Foxes.
