The news of a personal tragedy sends shockwaves through your world, leaving you and Heeseung reeling with grief.

The news of your grandmother's sudden passing hit you like a tidal wave, leaving you gasping for air. She had been the only constant in your life, the one who had loved you unconditionally after your parents' untimely death. The grief was unbearable, and the world felt like it was crashing down around you. The ache in your chest was overwhelming, and the darkness seemed insurmountable.

You couldn't bear the pain any longer. As you stood in the bathroom, the knife trembling in your hand, you were ready to end it all. Tears streamed down your face, your vision blurred by the overwhelming sorrow. Just as you were about to make the fatal move, the bathroom door burst open, and Heeseung, who just arrived from late night practices, stood there, eyes wide with shock and fear.

"No!" He shouted, rushing forward and grabbing your wrist, the knife falling to the floor with a loud clatter.

"Let me go, Heeseung," you cried, struggling against his grip. "I can't do this anymore. I don't want to be here without her."

Heeseung's arms wrapped around you, pulling you into a tight embrace. "No, Y/N, please don't say that," he pleaded, his voice breaking. "You have so much to live for. I need you. We need each other."

You fought against him, your fists pounding weakly against his chest. "You don't understand," you sobbed. "She's gone. The only person who ever loved me is gone."

Heeseung held you tighter, refusing to let go. "I do understand," he whispered, tears streaming down his own face. "But you're not alone. I'm here, Y/N. I'm here for you. Please don't leave me."

He carefully picked you up, carrying you out of the bathroom and into the bedroom. He sat down on the bed, cradling you in his arms as you continued to cry, the sobs wracking your body.

"I can't do this," you whispered, your voice barely audible.

"Yes, you can," Heeseung replied softly, stroking your hair. "You're stronger than you think. And I'll be here every step of the way. We can get through this together."

You buried your face in his chest, the warmth of his embrace slowly starting to soothe your anguish. "I miss her so much," you choked out.

"I know," Heeseung said gently. "And it's okay to miss her. It's okay to grieve. But hurting yourself won't bring her back. She wouldn't want this for you."

The words sank in, and you felt a flicker of clarity amidst the fog of despair. Your grandmother had always wanted you to be happy, to live a full life despite the hardships. She wouldn't want you to give up.

"Heeseung," you whispered, your voice trembling. "I'm scared."

"I know," he said, his voice soft and reassuring. "But you're not alone. We'll get through this together, I promise."

The two of you sat there for what felt like hours, Heeseung holding you close, his presence a steady anchor in the storm of your emotions. Slowly, the sobs subsided, leaving a hollow ache in their place. But the warmth of Heeseung's embrace remained, a reminder that you weren't facing this darkness alone.

Eventually, Heeseung helped you lie down, tucking you into bed. He lay down beside you, his arms still wrapped around you protectively. "Try to rest," he murmured. "I'll be right here when you wake up."

You nodded, feeling utterly drained. As you closed your eyes, the weight of your grief still pressing down on you, you felt a small spark of hope. It was faint, but it was there. And it was enough to hold onto.

The next morning, the pain was still there, but Heeseung's presence made it a little more bearable. He stayed by your side, offering words of comfort and holding you whenever the sorrow became too much to bear.

Over the following days, Heeseung continued to be your rock. He listened as you shared memories of your grandmother, cried with you when the pain became overwhelming, and reassured you whenever you felt like you couldn't go on.

"You know," Heeseung said one evening as you sat together on the couch, "your grandmother was an amazing woman. She raised someone incredibly strong and resilient. She'd be so proud of you."

You leaned into his embrace, feeling a bittersweet mix of sadness and gratitude. "Thank you, Heeseung," you whispered. "For everything."

He kissed your forehead gently. "Always," he replied. "I'll always be here for you."

With Heeseung by your side, you began to find small moments of peace amidst the grief. It was a long and difficult journey, but knowing you had someone who loved and supported you made all the difference. And as the days turned into weeks, you started to believe that maybe, just maybe, you could find a way to keep going, one step at a time.
