"That Fucking NDA" - Reneé Rapp x Billie Eilish

Before both girls knew it, the sun had begun shining through Renee's window causing Billie to stir in her sleep. She sighed softly before sitting up and opening her eyes to stare to the ceiling above her. Though she didn't turn to look at Reneé, she felt eyes on her.

"Good morning..." Reneé croaked, her voice raspy as she watched Billie. Her mind traveled back to the moment the two had the night before, and what Billie had spoken about the NDA. Similarly, Billie's mind traveled back to it also, but only out of fear. She wasn't sure if she had been too late, or if Reneé even wanted her in that way anymore. It had been eating at her all night as she tried to sleep, but she didn't mention a word to Reneé about it, not wanting to be rejected by the one woman she cared most about in the world.

"Morning." Billie responded, sitting up slightly in bed so she could find her phone and go through her notifications. Reneé hadn't stopped looking at her all morning, and it was beginning to freak Billie out. Was she waiting on Billie to mention last night..? Billie shook the thoughts out of her head, finally reaching her phone and beginning to go through it. Before she could even check her notifications she felt Nae's arms wrapped around her around her, gently embracing her.

Dear god. I hadn't realized how much I wanted this until now. I know I love her, but am I truly ready for something this serious...

Billie thought to herself, lying there silently as the two basked in the morning sun that was shining through her curtains. She truly was stuck to say the least, and it stressed her out. She let out a deep sigh, running a hand through her hair.

"Billie?" Reneé questioned, opening her eyes once more to glance at her, her brows furrowing as she heard Billie's sigh. She knew the girl was stressed about this whole... NDA thing. But she really did want billie to sign, both of them needed this. It almost felt like a crime being in love for so long but not being able to make any moves on her. It ruined the both of them.

"Yeah?" Billie's voice was quiet, almost too quiet... It made Reneé sit up for a moment, turning to look towards the Raven haired woman infront of her. Billie's eyes followed her as she sat up, a gentle, very subtle expression on her face as she waited for the question to come.

"you still wanna sign... right?" The blonde looked away, fiddling with her hands for a moment. Something billie noticed that she did when she was nervous for something. She often did that before interviews and things, but billie never mentioned it. She truly thought it was cute. But she quickly shook that thought from her head, her eyes lifting to look to Reneé's even if the girl wouldn't lift her eyes to look at her until billie responded.

"Shockingly, Yes... I do still wanna sign it, but please Nae, don't make me regret this decision." Billie almost seemed to sound fearful as she responded, but before she could think about that fear and rethink her decision, Reneé squealed with excitement, pulling billie in for another embrace. This one seeming much closer then before, causing a soft smile to arise on billie's lips.

"Oh, Thank God!" Reneé let out a large sigh, immediately flopping back down onto the bed, staring up at the ceiling fan, watching it spin. "I was hoping you hadn't changed your mind, I was afraid you had." She already moved close to her, draping her arm over Billie's petite body. "Now, all we've gotta do is get you the contract and you sign it.. Then we're set, we can finally be together." She smiled, looking up at Billie with gentle eyes, watching her as she finally set down her phone and wrapped her arms around Reneé, pulling her even closer, if it were even possible.

This was truly a dream, for both girls. It made them beyond happy, especially Reneé. Billie was all she wanted since both girls were in their teen years. It was odd though, Reneé was billie's brother's best friend, and it made her seem somewhat like family to her, but they never made it out to be like that. Because, Even Finneas knew about Reneé's feelings for his sister. Everybody did, honestly. It was hard to hide them, and as Billie started gaining her own feelings for Nae, it was even harder to hide it anymore. It was almost like the two were made for each other. Somehow.

Oddly enough, Reneé seemed to be reading Billie's thoughts, watching her as she thought about their past with one another and how much the love they held for each other built, and was still building. She leaned up, pushing a stray hair behind billie's ear with a soft smile. "You look like you've got a lot going through that pretty head of yours..." She frowned, her eyes observing Billie's facial expressions and the way her lips slightly parted when Reneé spoke.

"Honestly, I do. This is just... Perfect... But scary." She whispered, laying her head on the pillow beneath her, She was afraid, beyond that honestly. She really didn't want to fuck things up. "I just don't want to be tied down... you know? It's just a lot to take in. Like, i'm signing my life to you... it feels right... but it feels so wrong all at the same time, I just don't know if i'll regret it or not." She sighed, looking towards Reneé for any input.

"Hey, it's okay to be afraid of it... I know it's new for you Billie, but i want this to be a comfortable thing for both of us. And this is the best way.... But please, don't regret it, because this truly does mean so much that you finally agreed to sign... I know we've waited so long." She smiled softly, her hand moving to caress Billie's cheek, gently allowing her thumb to swop along the girls skin in the softest way possible. "Now... all i've gotta do is get you the paperwork, and then we'll be set... just me and you babygirl." She smiled, tempted to kiss her, but she waited... trying not to rush into things before they got too serious...

sooo... i was gone for a really long time, and i'm SO sorry about that. genuinely just didn't have the energy to write anymore... BUT i'm back, hopefully i'll be able to get a few chapters out every now and again. With school, performances, me being sick (currently), etc. This might come slower than usual. I began this story over summer because i honestly had nothing better to do then to write, but now that school and everything is continuing, i've been struggling to find the time to write and come up with anything new for pre-written chapters. I appreciate y'all's patience and support though, i adore reading the comments you guys send in and i'm happy to see people adding this story to their reading lists and what not. Makes me happy to know that you guys are enjoying it (even if the chapters are coming slow...). Anywho, I hope y'all enjoyed this chapter!! Sorry about that wait...
