Avenging Wonder (Avengers x Wonder Girl)

S1 E9: Depth Charge

A/N: Skips episode 8 "Molecule Kid", it was pretty much self contained on Widow and Hawkeye. But to reference it the rest did find out about how Fury offered Cass a job offer to join SHIELD.

In New York City we see the Avengjet was flying through the city chasing a giant green monster that has fin on him as they blast with their cannons.

Hawkeye: "Heh. What's it say about being an Avenger when the word typical can be used describe a rampaging monster?"

Hulk: "(Grunts) Less talking, more smashing!" Hulk yells as he grips the armrest so hard he crushes it.

Wonder Girl: "Yeah come on, sitting here is making my legs fall asleep."

Falcon: "Speaking of rampaging monsters...." Sam said as Wonder Girl narrowed her eyes at him a little bit for the comment.

Hawkeye: "Don't sweat it Falcon."

Hawkeye: "He just grumpy 'cause he missed breakfast."

Hulk: "Didn't miss it. Fridge was empty! Let me at him!"

Hulk: "If I can't eat, I gotta smash!"

Cap: "Let him out before he breaks down the door. Again."

Hawkeye: "Again."

But as they said this, Hulk broke down the door and jumped out.

Hawkeye: "Oops."

Wonder Girl ran to the hatch with Thor and Iron behind her.

Wonder Girl: "Whoa, when he's hungry he's motivated."

Iron Man: "Less joking, more monster fighting."

After Iron Man said this the three fliers flew down to see Hulk fighting the monster.

Iron Man: "Don't you just love it when the Hulk goes all 'rage monster'?"

Iron Man: "Like we need another one to deal with."

Thor: "(Chuckles) Hopefully his rage will serve us well in battle this time."

Iron Man: "Famous last words."

Wonder Girl: "(Annoyed) Hey, maybe you guys just need ease up on the big guy sometimes."

Iron Man: "Really kid? What is it with you and being Hulk's 1# fangirl. And not mine."

Cassie merely rolls her eye hearing the last part. She flies faster down to the monster and Hulk to help him out.

Wonder Girl: "Incoming!" She yells this as sends superpowered right hook to the monster making it topple and fall down. Hulk looks to her and says...

Hulk: "Had that kid! (Calms down a little) But thanks."

WG smirked hearing that and joined Hulk as they went to the monster's face, but they were both surprised when the monster was whimpering in sadness instead of roaring.

Both: "Huh"

The Avengjet pulls up to them.

Hulk: "Back off!"

In the Avengjet Cap tells Hawkeye to weapons trained on the giant until, but they're stop when Hulk jumps right at them forcing them to crash. The monster stands right back with Wonder Girl floating right next to it.

Iron Man: "So, Thor still a big fan of his rage?"

Iron Man: "Finish it off!"

Thor complies as winds up a swing from Mjolnir and charges at the monster while Wonder Girl puts her hands up to stop them.
